Great little stop off the main NC500 for EHU and fresh water refill. Note - no other facilities. Very reasonable price and the lady is most helpful and lovely. Highly recommend.

NonLostSouls15/11/2025There should be more of these Aires through out the UK. Great site stayed for one night, EHU & water, and a hard standing pitch, at a really affordable price... Lovely views, the owners have done a great job providing for the vanlife community. There are also Shepards huts to rent and a lovely little area with a fire pit, logs and seating Support places like this rather than expensive campsites

I stayed here for one night on 11 Jan and it was absolutely beautiful in the snow! As with a lot of open sites this time of year, the water was frozen/off so it was just a pitch and EHU, but it served us well. Very peaceful, the very odd car passes during the day but you barely notice it. Slightly sloping so chocks needed. Dark skies and beautiful sunset/rise.

Lovely place beside a quiet road. EHU available if required. Very friendly hosts. Great shower room (if available). Would highly recommend

Lovely place - highly recommend. Aiden and Jess are helpful with advice and recommendations on where to visit, etc. Just three places but lots of space. I would say only one of the three spots needed small levellers. Good phone reception (EE), quiet single track road, moorside/hill views, great value for money.

Exceptional hosts have put their heart and soul into this place. Just a short drive off the NC500. A good quiet overnighter with excellent facilities. Slightly sloping, just off a quiet road with good views of the countryside. I wish there were more places like this. 5 stars.

un très bel endroit, avec des propriétaires très accueillants. Jess est française ce qui facilite les échanges, sanitaires impeccables. je recommande vivement cet endroit !!

Very quiet newly built stop over approx 2 miles off the main route. Both Jess and Aiden were very welcoming and the facilities were fantastic. Soon to have shepherds huts up and running so might visit again in the car and leave the camper at home!
freedolin_on_tour26/05/2024Wunderschön ruhig gelegener, brandneuer Stellplatz inmitten des Weidelandes. Wir werden von den Besitzern super herzlich empfangen und bekommen wertvolle Tips für die Erkundung der Gegend. Es gibt sogar die Möglichkeit in gemütlichen Schäferwägen zu wohnen. Toiletten- und Duschhäuschen sind neu und sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Mehr geht kaum! Sehr empfehlenswert!
S14KTF05/05/2024Stayed at this new Aire for one night while on the NC 500. We couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome and the site is well put together and the services very clean and tidy. It’s really well placed down a straight country lane 2 miles off the main 500 route. Very peaceful and quiet feels like the middle of nowhere, which is great compared to many that have road noise. Highly recommended
