I've stayed here a few times now and I love it more each time. The chap on reception is so helpful and always remembers those who revisit. I came on a Monday during September and it was soooo quiet and peaceful. The facilities are basic but you don't need much more. Showers have underfloor heating which was a nice surprise. Ideal location. £23.50 for the night with EHU
This place is such an antidote to the bog standard generic clipped and sanitised caravan and camping club places. It is a farm just off the main road with a few places for motorhome and tents. The welcome from Connor(?) was lovely and he proudly showed us around. Everything is pretty basic but it's all there. The surroundings are lovely and the village pub is 20 minutes walk away along a lane
Fantastic night spent at Lanefoot. Arrived at 2000 and had a warm welcome from the host who showed us the site and pitch locations. Immaculate amenities, warm showers with good pressure. Safe campsite with well spaced pitches and the site quite times were adhered to by all. Will visit again if we are in the area, highly recommend!

Great campsite on a farm, very friendly staff and helpful. Able to have a bonfire at your stand and very quiet at night. Bring blocks as the stands are not 100% level but nice. You can put your awning on the grass. Basic but clean facilities and about 20min cycle to town on a cycle path. Nice place to unplug from the world.
l'emplacement est bien situé, les places pour les campings sont correctes mais sans ombrages. par contre, seulement 3 douches pour tous les clients dont de nombreux campeurs. 5 WC disséminés et de qualités différentes en ayant payé 200£ pour 3 jours a 4 personnes, cela fait très cher au regard des prestations proposées malgré un accueil très sympa. Pas de salle commune, ni dryer ou lave linge
very peaceful, great sized pitch. friendly staff.the showers are clean(cleaning stuff there to use) hot and never had to wait to use.grey water emptying area easy to get to plenty of space even for a 7m van,we had sunshine!! and jets fly by in the arvo.great place for mtb in winlater or skiddaw
What a lovely campsite! The showers, toilet and washroom was always very clean, little shop in the reception with some food/ toiletries you can buy. Our pitch overlooked Skiddaw, lovely views all day & especially at sunrise / sunset. Lovely and quiet. You can walk along footpaths from the campsite to Skiddaw & then go up to the summit, the walk to the base of the mountain is around 1hr 30mins. We did this but didn’t go up to the summit just as it was 24 degrees on our visit & had a dog with us who was too hot, but will definitely do another time! The walks in the area are lovely. There is a bus that goes on the road outside the campsite that you can get into town. Will definitely be back
Bellissimo campeggio agricolo. Ci sono tutti i servizi essenziali e le piazzole sono confortevoli. Molto silenzioso, possibilità di belle camminate.
cute little camping, the guy at the reception is really nice and helpful. Showers and toilets are clean and you have everything you need… would definately stay here again
Prima camping, wij betaalden voor 2 personen met buscamper zonder elektriciteit 26 pond. De beschreven 'parkeerkosten' zijn dus p.p.

lovely place to camp. caravans, motorhomes and tents welcome. Paid £12 per person, per night with EHU. EHU is available, we just chose not to. Friendly staff, clean toilets and showers readily available. Grey Waste facilities and H2O all catered for. Would definitely recommend.
Couldn’t recommend more. Gorgeous site, homely feel, lovely owners, modern yet rustic facilities. A little converted trailer selling breakfast food and drink. Perfect for accessing Keswick and the northern wainwrights.
