Arrived around 3pm. Now RM50 per night - no longer free. Have to download and app to book (gates locked) but need to book day beforehand. Contacted authorities to arrange to stay - long phone conversation - could not do it as they need minimum of 5 hrs notice for booking. Site looked clean but it may be cheaper to stay in other car parks in Melaka.
Spent 4 nights (Sep 25). Free toilets (clean), free electricity, free water to fill your water tanks, free parking, sink for dishes, tables to eat, barbecue/grill grids. Very close from the ‘touristy’ part of the city. Thank you to Melaka council for this car park. Also a lot of activities in the park early morning or evening where you can join (Zumba, Tai chi, etc.)
