À quelques pas d'un charmant bourg avec de bons magasins, des pubs et un café de l'autre côté de la rue. C'est une halte idéale.
Tous les fonds récoltés sont reversés à l'entretien du canal de navigation de Driffield. Nous sommes un organisme de bienfaisance enregistré.
Veuillez ne pas vous garer en bord de route, car nous ne voulons pas contrarier les riverains. Nous ne voulons pas perdre ce magnifique endroit.

Walkable distance into a lovely market town with good Shops and Pubs, Cafe across the road. Makes it an ideal stopover.
All the money raised goes to the upkeep of the Driffield Navigation Canal. We are a registered charity.
Please do not park on the roadside as we don't want to upset local residents. We don't want to loose this beautiful spot.

Tedsooty1214/04/2025The funds that are raised at this facility go to the Driffield Navigation trust which is a charity that looks after this 11 mile stretch of canal. It has been noted that only on average 25% of users are paying to use this facility which sadly raises the question do we close the area and spoil it for everyone.

Quiet night, lorry came and woke use up around 6.00am. 10 pound honesty box. 3 vans , could fit 4. Closest pub now closed, pity food was good.

paddycasey20/10/2023Great little stop,parking for 3/4 campers and plenty of parking along the road under the trees,1 bin and good phone signal,second day here as the weather is terrible and taking shelter in a pub 120ft away (mishka pub) nice and friendly,plenty of shops within walking distance but yet to find a place to top up with water

Brilliant spot, had two nights here in our camper. Plenty of places to eat and drink and very quiet on a night. Will definitely have another visit by the canal.

Lovely spot to park up for the day or spend the night (or two). 4G is OK on three but, apart from the waste bin, no other facilities. Honesty box is for boat launches (£5 per day) - nothing said about parking up but I'm sure contributions would be welcome. No fishing permitted in this part of the canal.

Great parking spot next to the river, no heigh or bay length restrictions. Free parking perfect for long campers and beautiful. Could stay over night if you needed.

Excellent stop, next to a canal basin, large bin available, very quiet. railway station 5min walk, town centre 400mtrs, good range of pubs, shops, good chippy 5 min walk. room for 3 vans, fairly level. nice walk by canal. Allround nice place, will return. suitable for larger units, ours is 7.5mtr

pauljohnstone19/01/2022easy to find and very quiet(tues).would recommend the fish and chip shop 8min away. large rubbish bin in parking area. There is a honesty box which we assumed was for parking dropped a couple of quid in,wellworth it.

Postcode should read YO25 6PA. Lovely quiet spot by river ten minute walk from bustling main Street. Lovely market town.

Used as an overnight stop on way up to north yorks moors. Nice walk alongside the canal. One other motorhome here tonight.

Stayed here overnight after attending a wedding in town. No signs about parking at all (allowed/not allowed) but it was fine - very quiet and no trouble.
