Im not actually sure i want to reveal just how lovely this place is! There is parking for about 12 cars/motorhomes. It is a narrow access road but not that bad! We spent the night here alone. It was peaceful with a beautiful starry night sky. It is cozy with no real views from the van but once you walk onto the Camel Trail just above the parking (20meters) the views are stunning! There are no facilities other than a bench so you need to be selfcontained. Just 100m along the trail is a beautiful little beach too!

Great little spot, but very narrow lane needed to travel to reach it. not suitable for motorhomes. Popular with the locals as a swimming spot as it's a tidal pool when the tide is high. No bins although good mobile signal. Spaces for about 8 vehicles. Very busy during the day, single lane road to reach this place.

I stayed here for one night in a regular sized converted transit custom and it was beautiful. Had a stunning Starry night. There were 4 other campers and still plenty more room. However please do respect the area as it's very rare to find an area like this that's free.

  • 3/5

Indeed Beautiful But soooo crowded. At least 8 other Camper when we slept here. Locals seem to be already annoyed about the tourists. Plus, it is Not easy to Access the Place.

  • 5/5

I went on 14/7 at around 7pm, road signs indicating it was closed but it was open, and got out the next day no issues. Lovely park up, not huge amount of room but easily enough for 5, road is small and narrow so not to big vehicle. We walked into Padstow from the park up and to tesco, was a good 2 mile walk into Padstow but worth it.

  • 4/5

Kiki, léa and xavier were there on june 26th and 27th 2025. Amazing freeeeeee karparkkk. Massive beach !! great walk to padstow for a pint and crab sandwich and one fish and chips each ! longer walk back a bit drunk. Cornwall 2025.

Narrow single track road to this site. We went in our 2.4m width motorhome and the wing mirrors were in the bushes on both sides meaning we couldn't see to reverse if we met anything large. We felt lucky to get in and out but lost part of our wing mirror cowling in the process. Great location for access to the camel trail and very peaceful overnight but would not recommend for wide motorhomes.

  • 4/5

Pretty nice and quiet spot. Pretty narrow though typical country road, nothing out of the ordinary. Maybe proper motorhomes would struggle but I saw another pretty wide and long camper parked there (at least 7m long) so. The main thing is just be prepared to reverse a while if you encounter someone. I didn't stay the night as wasn't much to do without a fair walk but nothing saying you can't.

  • 5/5

quiet, plenty space, single traffic road to get there and nice walks around.

  • 5/5

Great parkup. Great location flat, quiet , perfect. I would say that although there is space for say 8 vans we shouldn't take all the spaces. This is a very popular spot for local families and dog walkers and if they can't get parked for vans we will soon lose it. I would say if there are 5 vans already there go somewhere else.

  • 5/5

sadly there aren't many places like this in the UK. and I wonder how long until it's shut down. you are parked right by the camel trail, great for our kids on their scooters. peaceful, quiet, keep it clean and tidy and hopefully it will last. great if you have bikes as you can easily cycle to Padstow or wadebridge.

  • 5/5

Perfect little place to stay ! As mentioned a little tight on the access but absolutely fine in a mwb movano. One other van here over night , silent nights sleep and very nice walk to Padstow.

  • 4/5

We stayed early March and were the only van there. You can get to a sludgy beach the other side of the old railway. . Padstow is and easy walk, about 45 mins to the centre. One parking spot allows for a view of the estuary and bridge. Probably space for about 8 vehicles. Access road is a little tight but we made it through without a problem in our Pegeout Boxer.

  • 5/5

Absolutely fantastic spot - stayed 2 nights. Right next to the camel trail & a 2 mile walk into Padstow in one direction or 3 1/2 to Wadebridge in the other. Peaceful nights. No facilities but signal ok.

  • 5/5

lovely quiet spot. please clear up after yourselves. it does fit a lwb sprinter comfortably. will get busy during nicer weather. popular with cyclists using the camel.

  • 5/5

Nice spot lovely view, fit 5 comfortable

  • 5/5

Road was very narrow but once you get there - wow! Amazing location

  • 5/5

Lovely, quiet spot. Only dog walkers in the morning. It’s quite a long narrow road down to the spot but we managed L3 Citroen van.

  • 4/5

Kommenter !)

  • 5/5

Epic place. Space for at least 7 vans. Narrow entry but we made it our transit with minor scratches!

  • 5/5

Calme, emplacement droit, joli promenade.

Ruhige Nacht verbracht. Keine Schilder die das übernachten verbieten .

  • 4/5

Very narrow road. The shrubs were scretching our Citroen Relay. Its ok smaller vehicles or if you don't mind scretches. few other campers during the night. No O2 or Three reception only managed to used EE. Beach is a bit muddy, you can only access the sandy bit at very close to lowtide. Lovely spot otherwise.

  • 5/5

Toller Platz!!!

  • 5/5

truly a gem of a spot. i understand the original poster didnt want to reveal it. very quiet spot, there were 3 campers when we were there and a few joggers and dog walkers up on the camel trail which is 10 steps above the car park. extraordinary walk and views on the estuary. access too tight for motorhomes, camper vans ok no facilities whatsoever. please keep this gem clean and be respectful!

  • 5/5

Great little spot, perfect location to walk/cycle into Padstow or Wadebridge. Tucked away, safe and easy.

  • 5/5

Petit espace charmant et calme. Idéal lorsqu’il ne pleut pas.

  • 3/5

Looked to be a lovely spot, but we couldn’t get down in our motorhome. Suitable for small campers only.

  • 5/5

Great little park up spot. we parked here for one night and walked to Padstow and back. Ideal place before Easter asn im sure it will get busy later on in the year.

  • 5/5

Lovely little spot, peaceful at night however popular dog walking spot so as always make sure to leave no trace when you leave.

  • 3/5

We went here and it looked really nice but the majority was blocked off due to works being done. Not sure if they are resurfacing but didn’t look like much had been done, a bit out the way and a single track for a few minutes but possible worth trying again at some point.

  • 5/5

Had a lovely peaceful night here. Arrived around 5pm so just getting dark. Nice and level. Another van arrived around 7pm. Dog walks arrived 8am as up onto the bridge is a trail into nearest town with great views for a morning dog walk.

  • 5/5

Brilliant quiet spot right on the camel trail. 1.5m to Padstow in one direction and 4 miles to Wadebridge in the other. One other van overnight, no issues. No bins or facilities so be self contained. Not suitable for large RVs, LWB transit size at a max.

  • 4/5

lovely spot, been quite busy during the day due to an event but didn't take too long to get a parking spot. stunning views and a massive beach.
