Le stationnement est limité à une heure en journée sur Effingham Street. Pour plus de facilité, il est conseillé d'arriver par Effingham Crescent. L'accès par Norman Street est déconseillé aux véhicules de plus de 7 mètres de long.
Le stationnement est gratuit après 17h30 et jusqu'à 8h30 le lendemain matin. Idéal pour une nuit sur place : arrivez à 17h et prenez le ferry vers 7h le lendemain matin. Le dimanche, le stationnement est gratuit toute la journée, sans restriction.
Une poubelle est située au milieu de la rue. Merci de la garder propre. Le meilleur emplacement pour se garer est à droite, avec Saxon Street sur votre gauche.
Si vous avez le temps, profitez-en pour visiter le front de mer ou emprunter le sentier des falaises blanches et prendre le thé au phare de South Foreland. Course à pied tous les samedis à 9h sur le front de mer. Un grand bravo à Dover !

A well lit spot on this one way street overlooking Dover Castle. It is a few metres from the BP fuel station with shop for essentials. A 3mins walk into high street for Wetherspoon or called Eight Bells, Aspendos restaurant, St James shopping place.
Parking is limited to one hour during the day on Effingham Street. You should approach the street from Effingham Crescent to get more room when turning in. Not recommended to come in from Norman Street if your vehicle is 7m or more.
After 5.30pm is free to park until 8.30am the next morning. Ideal for sleep over arriving at 5pm and catching a ferry at around 7am the next morning. Sunday free to park all day with no restrictions.
There is a bin mid way on the street, so keep our street tidy please. The best spot to park is on the right with Saxon Street on your left.
If you have time, visit the seafront or even follow the White Cliff walk to have tea at the South Foreland Lighthouse. Park run every Saturday at 9am on the seafront. Give Dover a thumbs up!

Ein Mülleimer steht in der Mitte der Straße. Bitte halten Sie unsere Straße sauber. Der beste Parkplatz befindet sich rechts, mit der Saxon Street zu Ihrer Linken.
Wenn Sie Zeit haben, besuchen Sie die Strandpromenade oder folgen Sie dem Kreidefelsenweg zum Leuchtturm South Foreland, um dort eine Tasse Tee zu genießen. Der Parklauf findet jeden Samstag um 9 Uhr an der Strandpromenade statt. Dover ist definitiv einen Besuch wert!

For a free parking and stopover to await ferry crossing the next morning, this is perfect. I arrived here 6pm on a Friday, had dinner at Wetherspoon then a walk on the seafront and the yacht pontoons. There is a 10kg self service washing machine and dryer which was a bonus. I also noticed the railway station is 5 mins away and if I forgotten my passport I could actually head back to London.
