stayed for 1 night, level,only road noise from A6 but nothing serious, 4g signal

A pull in off road. Stayed the night. Level parking and quiet.

OrenFackrell09/08/2025As the other commenter has said, the A6 has traffic happening throughout the night & early morning. This is a perfectly fine park up, nothing special but never felt at risk or anything bad. Be sure to park up on the road and not under the tree on the side of the building as this is private land.

A security watched large layby that is separated from the A6 by trees and buisness. It's a steady hill. Space for about 15 vans / motorhomes. No facilities. The 40mph A6 is busy until about 9:30pm then only a few vehicles. Security change over about 1am so you will probably hear dogs barking, people chatting and doors closing with headlights on. 10min walk to shops.
