Currently closed for some reason. Parked along the river instead which was great, except there's a market twice a week during which you're not allowed to park.
2016.12.14 - Petit parking sur pavés face à la citadelle/monastère aux abords d'une rue assez bruyante et non loin du centre ville. Cet endroit vient compléter les 2 parkings à proximité déjà répertoriés sur Park4night. Ici aucun service de maintenance, ni d'accès wifi. Néanmoins et proche des Bombeiros le bar Capitulo vous permet d'accéder au wifi avec le code " superbock " (sans les parenthèses !)
2016.12.14 - Small parking on cobblestones facing the citadel / monastery on the edge of a quite noisy street and not far from the city center. This place completes the 2 nearby car parks already listed on Park4night. Here no maintenance service or wifi access. Nevertheless and close to the Bombeiros the bar Capitulo allows you to access the wifi with the code "superbock" (without parentheses!)
14.12.2016 - Kleiner Parkplatz auf Kopfsteinpflaster gegenüber der Zitadelle/Kloster am Rand einer ziemlich lauten Straße und nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Dieser Standort vervollständigt die 2 nahe gelegenen Parkplätze, die bereits auf Park4night aufgeführt sind. Hier gibt es keinen Wartungsdienst oder WLAN-Zugang. Nichtsdestotrotz und in der Nähe des Bombeiros ermöglicht Ihnen die Capitulo-Bar den Zugang zum WLAN mit dem "Superbock"-Code (ohne die Klammern!)
Pequeño aparcamiento en el pavimento frente a la ciudadela / monasterio cerca de una calle bastante ocupado y no lejos del centro. Este lugar complementa los 2 aparcamientos cerca ya que aparecen en Park4night. Aquí no hay servicio de mantenimiento, ni WiFi. Sin embargo, cerca de la barra de los Bomberos Capitulo le permite acceder a la conexión Wi-Fi con el código "Superbock" (sin los paréntesis!)

denRidder16/04/2026Een goede plek om Tomar te bezoeken, dat is op korte loopafstand van de parkeerplaats. De kerkklokken zijn na 23.00u tot 8 uur uit. Ook de drukke weg is ‘s nachts rustig. Op een 200 m is een openbaar toilet en zijn er containers. Verder geen voorzieningen

Great place to stay, super close to the center and not blocked by market schedules. The only downside is that the floor is not flat and the spots are small. Also note that the church bells will wake you at 8am, but I actually liked it. really appreciate letting us stay there
Hen10/04/2026Muy tranquilo, fácil acceso, plazas algo justas para ac grandes. Cerca del centro, y con jardín y río cerca ideal para los perros.

Einfacher Parkplatz. In der Nähe des Flusses (+), der Kirche (Glocken läuten alle 30min von 8 bis 22 Uhr) und der Straße (-). Keine sanitären Anlagen am Parkplatz aber sehr gute öffentliche WCs (ausgeschildert) hinter der Kirche (ca. 3min). Diese haben offizielle Öffnungszeiten, waren aber auch außerhalb dieser geöffnet.

Parking plat, accessible par tout type de véhicule, gratuit mais sans ombre. Marché de l’autre côté de la route et brocante tous les 1er dimanche du mois. Centre historique facile d’accès à pied.

Parkplatz ideal zum Übernachten in Tomar und die Stadt mit ihren herausragenden Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden. Der Parkplatz gehört zur Kirche Santa Maria do Olival. Also am Sonntag morgen den Platz zeitig verlassen, damit die Kirchengänger ihren Parkplatz nutzen können.
