Just had a lovely 2 night stay here. Great communication on booking and a really nice welcome when we arrived. Facilities on the site were great. Access to the big field to give our dogs a good run. Local pub and Aldi within a 5-10 min walk. Ashbourne is also a lovely walk along the road or you can access it via the Henmore Brook path.
Basic, but great value at £15 for the night. Loos clean and drinking water available. Maybe 5 vans on quite a large field so felt very spacious/private. Nice easy walk in to Ashbourne and just 100 metres to M&S food hall.
Great little site for a stop over. It’s a pop-up site hence the very basic facilities. £15 per unit, great views from the adjoining larger field. Close to Ashbourne town, Aldi, pub, etc.
Went here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time! Beautiful place! Next to a golf course and plenty of shops nearby with great facilities. Can’t wait to return again for another stay! Brill place and price with friendly staff
Lovely quiet and well maintained site. Whilst the facilities are basic they are spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money and a great stop over when visiting Ashbourne or The Dales.
Great open field space on the outskirts of Ashbourne, easy walking distance into town. Simple clean toilets in a small shed! Fresh water tap and washing up sink. No EHU or showers but we didn't need them. No grey waste disposal or Elson point, but at £15/night. There is a duck pond with fish but overhanging trees and weeds would make fishing difficult Call the number on gate to get a payment link
Stayed one night last night. Lovely quiet flat site. Toilets very clean. Easy walk into town. Phone number is on the gate, or can be booked on pitchup. It states tents only on there, but motorhomes & campervans are accepted. Postcode quoted is correct. We used the one quoted by another camper, and it was not right. We would definitely stay here again.
Great little low key campsite, 15 mins drive to lovely Dovedale stepping stones car park for great walks. Grass, duck pond, clean basic toilets, water tap, walking distance to M&S food. Postcode wrong on P4N, sent us to a house on housing estate! It’s at DE6 2DH Lodge Farm Cottage or we’ve added what3words to description. Phone on arrival and owner sends a text message link to pay online £15.
Gave it a 4 because I didn’t pay. Owners weren’t there. If I had paid, would’ve been 3. It’s just a field with a shed that has a toilet in it and some fairy lights. On a positive, it’s cheap at £15 a night and super close to M&S food, poundland and the town centre. I would stay here again, but adding a toilet and shower block would make the world of difference. Fantastic flat and well maintained field. Good views from a joining field used for overspill during busy periods. Town is a 15 minute walk and shops/pub are less than 5. Surrounded by tall trees. Very clean onsite flushable toilets
