Stopped here for 1 night tucked up in the corner with 1 other Motorhome, nice and close to the centre and plenty of pubs and places to eat which we made use of. A bit of road noise which dies down later and a bit of noise from the near pub when everyone is leaving later but nice and quite after that.Would stay here again if I were in the area.
Stopped here one night, quiet & peaceful. Came to walk the Spa Trail but we were quite disappointed, walked about 2 miles without seeing anything. Went as far as the Viking Boat, turned back round & went to the pub. The Heron sculpture was spectacular though. Had chips & a beef pie from the chippy, they were okay. Hubby said the pie was soggy like it had been sat there all day. Great stopover.
Stopped overnight with 3 other vans. Two entrances, one with height barrier, the one opposite the police station has no barrier. Felt safe and was relatively quiet. Fish and chip shop round the corner, plenty of grass for dog to run around on. Shame not more council car parks like this
a bit noisy this Friday night as there was a party in the nearby restaurant. otherwise, really good location, with friendly neighbours. the other spot mentioned near the sport center looked nicer.
OK stop over on The Wong. Hight barrier on one entrance but not the other. Close to town and a good chippy. TV phone and WiFi signal good. Nice town full of antique shops. No restrictions to overnight stop.
