Can't speak for larger vehicles but in a small van I didn't have any issues. It was a nice spot with a good view of the park. Lots of parking available on both side of the road. It's free on the weekend, but paid by phone on weekdays.
It’s a good place to stop but I had an angry note left on my window and a wing mirror smashed so I wouldn’t trust the locals!!
