Juste en haut de la piste depuis l'autre emplacement PFN. Beaucoup plus de place avec un parking plat décent. La piste de gravier est bonne tant que vous faites attention. Nous l'avons fait facilement en 7,5 m de carrosserie
Just up the track from the other PFN location. Much more room with a decent flat parking area. Gravel track is fine as long as you are careful. We made it with ease in 7.5m coachbuilt

Justo arriba del sendero desde la otra ubicación de PFN. Mucho más espacio con estacionamiento plano decente. La pista de grava es buena siempre y cuando tengas cuidado. Lo hicimos fácilmente en carrocería de 7,5 m.

Definitely approach from north, not least as low rail bridge (7’3”) as you leave Machen. Great views, turbine noise was not intrusive in moderate breeze. Good range of walks from the spot. During evening local vehicles moving up and down track, but no disturbance. Quiet night snd woke to cattle grazing nearby.
Très beau spot mais le chemin est très pittoresque, nous avons quand même continué jusqu’au bout et cela en valait la peine. Nous avons dormi avec les moutons et vaches qui s’amuser à côté de notre van, cependant il y avait beaucoup beaucoup de vent. Impossible de manger dehors.
En haut de la colline donc avec du vent, nous avons passé une bonne nuit tranquille. Les moutons ont été nos voisins ! Quelques quads, vélo et baladeurs de chien. Bel emplacement que nous recommandons.
Definately not recommended. Broken glass everywhere (on both spots we checked) among other litter. The north road is doable but there are some muddy potholes that cant be avoided. The view okay but not anything special & the windmill is audible all day and night but not too bad. Only upside is good 4G.
Sehr schöner Platz, den wir Ende Mai an einem Werktag ganz für uns hatten. Anfahrt im T6 kein Problem.
A great park up. I approached from the South in a 9.5m 12T off road lorry. it can be done, but my advice having done it would be to approach from the North as previously advised by others. take it steady through the potholes and you will be rewarded by great views and good dog walks. there was enough wind to rock us to sleep, despite being 12T.
stayed for 4 nights 25.10. wondered what we were doing there on approach as road is very bumpy and loads of pot holes but drove slow and made it fine. 7.3m campervan. so beautiful 360 views. loads of walks. only left as we ran out of water and needed to empty the loo. Will be back. drove in from the North like previous posts suggested. one other van joined us

Dont approach from the south, you'll never make it unless you're in a 4x4, and a small one at that. managed in my 3.5t luton from the north without any real difficulty.
Nice spot with lovely views! Maybe not suitable with big vans or motorhomes as it’s a narrow single lane up. Passed by a lot of litter on the way up, what a disgrace. Please leave nothing behind. And make sure to take the hill from the north side. Access from south is not possible!
très bon emplacement, très calme. Nous sommes passés avec un van California par la route nord qui ne présente pas de problème majeur, c'est une route en gravier. De nombreux autres emplacements sont présents sur le chemin.
Very quiet, cars & walkers around through the evening, alone by 8pm. Gravel paths up were a bit rough but managed in a LWB. Big storm through the night and we moved around 6am, difficult to get down in bad weather but we didn't want to stick around up the top due to wind and boggy conditions. overall pleasant and the walks around are lovely, we headed up the spoil heap and to the peak, recommend.
Chemin un peu chaotique qui mène à un très chouette spot. L'endroit est charmant. on s'est mis un peu en retrait de l'éolienne ce qui fait qu'on l'entendait peu. Malheureusement quelques déchets qui traînent, et des jeunes en motocross jusqu'à ce que la nuit tombe. Endroit exposé au vent. Nous étions en tente de toit. Nous avons dû replier à 4h30 car le vent s'est renforcé.
De los sitios más tranquilos en los que he estado hasta el momento en este viaje, incluso habiendo coincidido en fin de semana. En principio el GPS me envió por una carretera muy accidentada (solo para 4x4), pero hay otra posibilidad, que supongo que es por donde ha subido casi todo el mundo.
Some noise from the wind turbine but once inside with blinds closed it was not too bad. It was very windy and the turbine was turning very fast ! Excellent view for miles over the hills
