Fabulous spot. Chap who lives on site in a caravan seems to police it. He showed me Fabulous footage on his phone of White Tailed Sea Eagles, Otters, Pine Martin and Dolphin O and wonderful aurora pics.

Posto MERAVIGLIOSO! Davanti al loch con vista eccezionale. Davanti ha bagni pubblici puliti. Bisogna dare una mancia di 5£ nella cassetta. Vicino al pub del paesino molto carino e ottimo cibo del luogo.

We spent an enjoyable evening after meeting John who was very polite and did mention that we should give a donation. The toilets were extremely clean and the view was stunning so I was happy to donate £10. John recommended the Shieldaig bar and costal kitchen just a few minutes walk away. The seafood was some of the best we had ever tasted! We would definitely stop here again.

Very nice place in a small village. Saw a fantastic sunset and slept well. Toilets close by. I would have given 5 Stars, but a very rude man turned up at 10 pm and told me to pay NOW. I would have done in the morning anyway!

Spot parfait au cœur d'un petit village en contrebas du camping. John qui entretient les lieux est formidable! Fourmille de belles photos et d'expérience. on recommande et ce malgré les cattle grids qui peuvent réveiller les campeurs au sommeil léger !

super Platz tolle Aussicht nettes Pub um die Ecke John mit seinem Hund Frosti sind einfach cool, er hält alles in Schuss ist für einen schnack immer zu haben. man trifft ihn auch Abends im Pub. am nächste Tag für John mich noch mit seinem Boot zum Tauchen raus. 6 Sterne

Herrlicher Platz! Der Mann im Wohnwagen war freundlich und achtet darauf, dass die Spende von 5£ auch entrichtet wird. Der Platz wird auch von PKWs genutzt.

What a fabulous spot. Put tenner in for donation to thank the community for this facility , please be generous . John was great , no idea why some comments are negative, he helped us with our cycle route and water containers. Then came to ask how we got on on our ride , which was tough as included the famous Bealach na Ba climb. Thanks John and the community here.

Lovely village and super location but Glasgow John arrived and said it was a concessionary campsite. There are no signs saying this only a donation box for the upkeep of the toilets. John said we had to pay £5 and I suspect if you do this he is nice. However, if you point out that it is a voluntary donation, he quickly becomes aggressive. He began swearing at me and slammed my door in my face.

Très bel endroit, toilettes propres que John, plutôt sympa par ailleurs, vous invite à supporter d’un don de 5 Livres dans la boîte ad hoc . Il est conseillé d’arriver courant pm… car le soir tout était pris (4 ou 5 places)

Lovely spot, close to the toilets where you can leave a donation. The Shieldaig Circular walk is close by with fab views. Nanny's Coffee shop is awesome, friendly staff, good atmosphere and fantastic home cooked food.

Emplacement au bout du village après le cattle grid. Peut accueillir 3 camping car. Un homme surnommé "John Glasgow " vit à côté de ces emplacements, il s'occupe de l'entretien des toilettes publiques, très propres. Il surveiĺle les arrivées et ne manque pas de nous montrer la boîte de donation (5£). Homme charmant et sympathique. Un footpath côtier à la sortie du village.

Parked up here for 24 hours. Beautiful views. Met a lovely guy called John ( Glasgow John) who lives the caravan by the cattle grid who was super knowledgable about the area and also looks after the toilets, which are clean and tidy. Another review said he was aggressive…not at all

Breathtaking views but spoiled by an aggressive man called Glasgow John who lives in the lay-by permanently and the loudest cattle grid next to the site. There are pull ins further along past the bistro and the locals are happy for you to use as long as they’re not near the houses.
