I was aiming for a spot nearby but my van was too big for the bridge! So stopped next to the river then realised that was prohibited… So relocated again here! 11pm, been driving for 10 hours so glad to stop! Excited to see the views from here in the morning, a clear night with a full moon, great visibility for star gazing, nothing fancy just a lay-by but plenty of space, just me here tonight
A beautiful spot, road noise from the M6, useful stopover if you are tired.
Great stop over just off the motorway beautiful views. It's a little noisy due to the motorway being so close, but overall, it's a really good spot to stop overnight
