Car park has signs at entrance staying no sleeping in vehicles overnight. We didn't want to risk a ticket

pvcamper2422/08/2024Set up when it was dark, wet and really blustery. There was some road noise but nothing that was loud enough to disturb us. We were relatively sheltered on what was an extremely windy night. There’s a domino’s pizza across the road and there are plenty of restaurants and other take aways around. There are also shops and fuelling stations for necessities etc. and would recommend Rita’s cafe for breakfast if you don’t feel like cooking. Theres toilets around in shops and by the railway station too. Was only £3.80 for overnight (12hours) and can be topped up as needed. There is a lot of space in this carpark with other vans of varying sizes around us.
sandbagger04/05/2024Park in town centre car park. Quiet night. Overnight parking. over night fees £2.40 (cash at machine) or £2.60 on app. 1800hrs to 0800hrs. morrisons over the road with garage LPG pump. (pump number 7/8) toilets on end of indoor market cost 40p.
Cass1809/08/2023Nous ne nous sommes pas sentis en sécurité. Beaucoup de passage et d'insistance dans les regards d'une population semblant un peu désœuvrée. Juste une mauvaise impression. Sommes partis pour l'autre point en bord de route. certes plus bruyant mais avec du voisinage. Sur le parking précédent nous étions seuls.
