This was a ok stop after traveling south on the A1M for most of the day. about 5 mins from the A1M . easy to enter, no restrictions. close to road so traffic noise. Stansted airport not farway,so aircraft flying over. in the morning a lot of cars came in and out, seems a stop off for school children. not level as it slopes down slightly, but ok.

ok stopover does seem to attract doggers at times but they do tend to leave campers alone. we just shut curtasins once dark

I have a LWB and struggled to overhang so I was sticking out too much for my liking. I also didn’t end up staying here because I quickly realised a couple cars flashing their lights at each other and engaging in things I didn’t want to be a part of. would recommend for smaller campers and maybe not on a Saturday night or whatever the local dogging night is.

Parked here for a quiet night. Nice walk in the park.

bigger than 6 metre vans wil over hang the spaces but if just overnight be ok

Stayed here for our first ever off grid stopover 24/7/24. No problems at all. Usual noise from nearby traffic but minimal later on. Nice view. Even had a couple of people enquire as to what it was like doing the overnight off grid stops, as it was our 1st (lol) we could only comment on the stay we just had, which was a pretty good one for starters.

Theoretically a good place to stay, but our 7m motorhome struggled to overhang (like the picture shows) as the banks are inclined. We moved to the larger car park south of the park. School drop off time very busy too, as it's close to local secondary.

Good hard and level parking fairly quiet at night, nice big park to walk the dogs in the morning, café and toilets, a short walk at the yacht club, can get busy in the morning at school drop-off time, but soon clears.

Plenty of traffic noise until 10pm and then frequent passing vehicles on the road. We were woken up at 11.30pm when the local youth arrived in cars and played loud thumping music for 30 minutes before doing several screeching donuts and leaving. No damage done but was impossible to relax after that. A shame as this is a nice park which is worth a visit. 4/5 for location, 1/5 as an overnight spot

Stayed here 30-Oct-2022 nice clean spot. Aircraft noise can be heard, nice park to walk through.
