Peaceful quiet night No other vehicles seen after about 8.30pm. Nice views
Place de parking pour le parc national de Penistone Hill sur Dimples Lane. Au parking en bordure de route, il y a de la place pour deux camionnettes de taille moyenne. Descendez la piste et il y a un espace pour 2-3 grandes camionnettes ou camping-cars. Sachez que c'est une piste difficile, pas une route. Ce n'est pas immense mais vraiment isolé et calme. Je suis arrivé à 20 heures et je n'ai jamais vu personne avant 8 heures du matin, des promeneurs de chiens dans le parking en bordure de route. Pas de services mais très bien situé.
Parking spot for Penistone Hill country park on Dimples Lane. At the roadside parking there is space for a couple of average sized vans. Drive down the track and there is a space for a 2-3 large vans or motorhomes. Be aware it is a rough track down, not a road. It's not huge but really secluded and quiet. I arrived at 8pm and never saw anyone until 8am, dog walkers up in the roadside carpark. No services but great location.
Parkplatz für den Landschaftspark Penistone Hill in der Dimples Lane. Auf dem Parkplatz am Straßenrand ist Platz für ein paar durchschnittlich große Transporter. Fahren Sie die Strecke hinunter und es gibt Platz für 2-3 große Lieferwagen oder Wohnmobile. Seien Sie sich bewusst, dass es sich um einen holprigen Weg handelt, nicht um eine Straße. Es ist nicht riesig, aber wirklich abgelegen und ruhig. Ich kam um 20 Uhr an und habe bis 8 Uhr niemanden gesehen, Hundeausführer auf dem Parkplatz am Straßenrand. Keine Dienstleistungen, aber tolle Lage.

Jackiekjg09/07/2024Lovely quiet park up beside walks on the moors. I got a signal with EE. The sunset was beautiful and we watched a barn owl quarter over the moors near to us. Only one other campervan. No disturbances during the night.
