Parked up 9.30pm, single female, 7m motorhome. Cars driving in and out until midnight. 1am suddenly woken by someone trying to open door, banging and rocking motorhome. Shouted to leave me alone. 10 mins later, again, so went to drive off, but access road was blocked off with branches and pallets. Had to call the police. Was a scary experience. would not recommend this as a safe spot to sleep.
brilliant stopover. gorgeous stately home to walk the dog or just go for a stroll. was a bit busy once dark and alot of activity but it never bothered us and didn't keep us awake. highly recommend small to medium sized motorhome but can accommodate any size
Had a good night stay, plenty of parking spots to choose from, had phone signal most of the time, fairly quiet. However, police arrived doing a routine check, they were happy for us to stay but warned us to lock our doors because of dodgy behaviour’
