Attention you are on a highway (with barrier in the middle so not possible to cross). the station is accessible in the direction of Sofia -> Doupnitsa

Just 20 minutes from Sofia on highway going south. Nice 5 parking's with views over the landscape. Best part was cool air in this area for a good sleep. Explanation: Left Sofia at midnight with 20 degrees, whent up in the mountain to this parking and suddenly it was just 16 degrees. This place has 24/7 fuel, gas, toilet and shop. Even a small Cafe with veranda towards the highway.
It’s nice to know the garages that are willing to fill your gas bottles. This particular location is only suitable for vehicles travelling in the direction of Greece. If you are travelling in the direction of Sofia it is a long drive around to get across to the other side of the road and back again
