Great location as walking distance to the castle and town with plenty to see and do. road a little noisy but quietened down about 10 pm. Ideal for a stopover.
Une route calme, surtout la nuit (malgré son ancien nom de « London Road »), avec un stationnement illimité côté sud.
Nous vous suggérons de vous garer près du haut mur d'enceinte du domaine du château d'Arundel, avec l'épaisse haie de l'impressionnante cathédrale de l'autre côté (avec des bancs dans le parc et une architecture illuminée). Aucune nuisance pour les habitations.
Il semble y avoir de nombreuses places de parking libres le soir.
Un pub très agréable, idéal pour un pèlerinage (St Marys Gate Inn).
Pratique pour se rendre à pied au centre.
Probablement mieux adapté aux camping-cars.
A quite road, especially at night (despite being called the old 'London Road'), unrestricted parking on South side.
Suggest park by high boundary wall of Arundel castle's estate with the thick hedge of the very impressive cathedral church on the other side (has benches in the grounds & illuminated architecture). No disturbance there to, or from, houses.
Seems many spare parking spaces free in evenings.
Very nice pub there, to make a pilgrimage to (St Marys Gate Inn).
Convenient for walks to centre.
Probably best suited to campervan widths.
Eine ruhige Straße, besonders nachts (obwohl sie die alte „London Road“ genannt wird). Auf der Südseite ist uneingeschränktes Parken möglich.
Parken Sie am besten an der hohen Mauer des Arundel Castle-Anwesens, gegenüber der dichten Hecke der beeindruckenden Kathedrale (mit Bänken im Gelände und beleuchteter Architektur). Keine Störungen zu oder von den Häusern.
Abends scheinen viele freie Parkplätze frei zu sein.
Ein sehr schönes Pub, zu dem man gerne pilgert (St. Marys Gate Inn).
Praktisch für Spaziergänge ins Zentrum.
Wahrscheinlich am besten für Wohnmobile geeignet.

foxybus25/04/2025Free, level street parking right in the centre of Arundel. You will get traffic noise until 10:30-11pm and starting again from 6:30am but for one night this close to a pretty town it’s a great spot.

eurotramping30/06/2023it's a brilliant unrestricted place day or night. in my opinion better than mill road because there are less campers here and it's very well lit. 2 mins walk to the center. very quiet and safe

parked for the day before moving to Mill Road to overnight - safe spot, free for day parking, but we liked to look of Mill Road for a sleep over more
