Very noisy with a lot of traffic.
Parking tranquille la nuit sans personne, le matin un peu de passage, pour promener sons chien ou boire un café à la petite échoppe à l’entrée du parking.
Quiet car park at night without anyone, in the morning a little passing, to walk his dog or drink a coffee at the small shop at the entrance to the car park.
Ruhiger Parkplatz nachts ohne jemanden, morgens ein wenig vorbei, um mit seinem Hund spazieren zu gehen oder einen Kaffee im kleinen Laden an der Einfahrt zum Parkplatz zu trinken.

Would not recommend. A couple of suspicious cars. One of which stood watching us set up for an hour then once thought we were asleep parked directly next to us looking at us. We swiftly left then he did too...quite concerning. Good amount of space though. Bins overflowing. We found a much preferred spot at Littlethorn woods.
Tolgaarder04/07/2025Een fijne gratis vlakke plek in een park. Geen service. Wel heerlijk wandelen of genieten van een rugby training. Heerlijk rustige nacht gehad.
AGP201922/06/2025Wir waren letzte Nacht (Samstag) hier, leider ebenso jemand, der x mal mit einem getunten Auto mit laufendem Motor auf dem Parkplatz (gefühlt direkt neben uns) stand, mit Vollgas losfuhr, wohl einmal die Straße rauf und runter und dann wieder neben uns. Hätte sonst für eine Nacht okay sein können, wobei die Straße abends recht lange und auch schon am Sonntag zeitig busy ist und die Mülleimer überfüllt sind.

Gelegen aan sportvelden in een parklandschap, ruim opgezet. Rustige nacht maar al heel vroeg (06.00 uur) kwamen de eerste hondenuitlaters. Van 19.00 - 21.30 druk met auto’s voor de rugby training. Daarna rustig.

Es perfecto para pasar una noche. Tranquilo, con muy poco tráfico durante la noche. Por la mañana hay una tiendita de comida justo al lado. También dispone de basuras y de zona verde para paseo. Cuidado si llevas perro, porque los jardines están plagados de conejos silvestres.

CoralieR.16/09/2024arrivée après 20h car blindé juste avant par ceux qui font du sport, normal, chacun son tour. Proche de la route mais peu de passage la nuit. je suis partie à 7h pour aller au parking nord de Falkirk wheel (qui lui est interdit la nuit).

Prima parkeerplaats. Wij hadden geen last van het geluid van de weg. Het is een parkeerplaats voor de lokale bevolking die hier gaat sporten. Ik vraag me af wat zij er van vinden als er veel campers staan, vandaar dat ik het niet aanraad.
cheblxn08/09/2024Ok pour une nuit d’étape, mais pas plus. Parking rempli lors des entraînements de rugby mais se vide vers 20:30. Calme la nuit mais la route derrière est très fréquentée dès le matin.

stayed last night peaceful nights sleep bins available for rubbish and cafe open in the morning. lovely space to walk dogs felt safe here a few cars pulled up but didn't bother us at all locals were very friendly and chatty in the morning. would stay again

Still fine, mostly local peeps walking dogs and folks stopping off at the little cafe (Coffee one pound a cup bargain). Quiet night though road gets a little busy during the day.

We definitely cannot recommend this place. The place is very suspicious. Cars are coming only for a few minutes to pass over stuff to other people. Taxi drivers stopping to use the gras as toilet directly beside you… after 2 hours and serval suspicious cars we decided around midnight to move on to the next stop.

Lovely spot for a stopover, nice place to walk your dogs. A little traffic noise from the road but not to bad. Had a peaceful night sleep. Little cafe open looked busy but we didn't try it.

Parking convenable pour une nuit, à côté d'un terrain de rugby. Entraînement en fin de journée, le parking se vide la nuit mais la route d'à côté est très passante, et le bruit peut être gênant. Beaucoup de détritus par terre et beaucoup de gens s'arrêtent dès tôt le matin pour aller boire un café.
