Quiet night and a park a short walk away to walk dog. Ideal if wanting to do the JCB tour and (optional) lunch.
Quiet roadside spot on a dead-end road, with level crossing at the bottom. Pedestrians walking into town center, 5 min walk into Uttoxeter town center. Quiet night overlooking a plot of undeveloped land .
No facilities.
Keine Einrichtungen.
Quiet night and a park a short walk away to walk dog. Ideal if wanting to do the JCB tour and (optional) lunch.
Lovely quiet spot, road is a dead end for vehicles. Easily walkable to the town in one direction or over the railway line and left to Aldi supermarket in the other. Another van parked a bit further down but deserted otherwise. Some noise in the morning after 8 when people park in the road to go to work. Recommend it and will use again.
Did our first street park here last night, 27/8, only us in the camper and 1 other parked car, few people walking to and from the town centre but not much after 10pm. Handful of cars parked early this morning so people must use this for the station just down the road.
Stayed the night last night, as other reviews, had a quiet night with the odd train and a few walking by. we were surprised to be the only vehicle down there expecting it to be busy as we arrived late!
Great spot, we stayed here last night after a day at the races. 5 minutes town, 15 minutes uttoxeter racecourse. It's well lit and wide enough for bigger vans. This was our first time parking up in a street and we were a bit nervous, after arriving and seeing other vans we were a lot more comfortable. Theres the odd train and a few drunks making their way home but otherwise a peaceful night.
hello. op here. back again to our original spot. just the same as before. nice and quiet apart from the odd train passing by the crossing. town is just a short walk away we had a good night here again.
Great place to stop over, like others have said there is a little noise 7-9am from people going to work/school and the odd train going by. But pretty quiet a majority of the time. Mostly level ground or slightly sloped. Looks close to shops but not ventured out in the rain yet. Would stay here again if in the area.
Good spot for the night! Can get busy with parking and people walking between 7:30-9:00am. No bathrooms. But Aldi is 4 min walk and other grocery store. Good location if passing through late at night.
This was a great place to stop really peaceful at night (only noise was the fiance snoring!). Just a couple of minute walk into the lovely town, will definitely be back!
Still here. Nice and quiet for the night. Cars start parking on the left hand side of the Rd (facing away from the railway line) in the morning. Weatherspoons 5 min walk for breakfast and bathroom.
Ruhiger Platz direkt neben der Ortsmitte. Die Züge der nahen Bahnstrecke sind leise zu hören, hat uns aber nicht gestört.
Great spot. Quiet even during the day. Only noise was the occasional walker.
Nice quiet dead end road. A little noise from train and main road, but I barely heard it and slept really well. Busier during the day with cars parking for railway etc and some people waking through. No problems. If you're driving anything longer than a small car I wouldn't go over the bridge as you won't be able to turn and will have to back out. Parking restrictions apply only to the bridge.
It’s not a bad park up but nothing special. Just the bottom of a dead end road. Stayed for the night before travelling to Alton Towers. There is an Aldi just across the railway line- about a 5 minute walk. We weren’t disturbed all night.
Amazing place for as long as it lasts :) Very quiet (apart from a very few passing trains) and well-lit so no concerns about security. Easy walk into town for a cheeky Spoons
Used this street for a stop over after a day in Alton towers. Very quiet street opposite a police station, no trouble staying overnight. Some local walking home but slept fine. Very flat and easy access to the town centre. No facilities but perfect for a quick stop over after a long day. Picked up Chinese from local restaurant Ruby which was lovely.
quiet spot, manager to get good night sleep in there, safe as police station 200 meters away
