Large hardstanding carpark. There's actually two you can stay in. We picked the one further down the track. No road noise, good phone signal, and surrounded by nature. Taking a star off for the amount of crater sized potholes! We were the only ones there, so we had the whole place to ourselves!
Great little flat car park, few picnic tables and great starting point for hikes... I think the barrier may be higher than 2.1 m. Somewhere around 2.3 or 2.4. Not indicated unfortunately.
Nice and secluded and surrounded by trees and nature. Very quiet at night with no road noise or anything, completely undisturbed. Plenty of flat ground and some picnic benches. Walkers/cyclists in the morning but it's part of a trail so that figures. Please take your rubbish home!
Looks a nice spot but 2.1m barrier so no good for me.
Wasn’t my first choice as it was further away from home than I’d originally planned for my trial night in my car but so pleased I gave it a try. Tucked away with no road noise, just a shame about the dumped rubbish in one corner.
