Was a decent place to stop but with 0 signal, very uneven though so will need levelers if you want a flat spot to park, has some cars meeting until about 11 and then it was very quiet for the night, nice spot for some walks in the morning too
Lovely quiet place to stay. Steep roads on the way to it. Great for dog walking and even found a waterfall. Not much ambient light so great on a clear night for star gazing. Light traffic until about 9pm then didn't hear anything. lovely and clean but could do with a bin there so please make sure you clean up after yourselves. Bike trails aswell for the cyclists among you.
stayed 23rd December, hard to get a level space. was peaceful and a few cars turned up in the morning. didn't walk just headed home for Christmas.
Lovely spot, nice walks up to the top of the hill. No mobile service in parking lot. Some traffic passing by and late night visitors. But we were mostly alone in mid December. Didn’t see any signs about prohibiting overnight parking. Not sure if there are rules about picnic areas in an established town forest.
Nice spot in the St Gwynno forest. Road towards the pub (and beyond) quite narrow. Some good level-ish spots. Did not overnight, but may do in the future.
