Parked up on Sunday night and thought we had the spot to ourselves. Around 9pm, 3 cars pulled up, speeding round the corner filled with young men. We decided to leave as we felt intimidated. Once we left, they all immediately got in their cars and followed us for the next 20 minutes, shouting abuse and trying to scare us on the dark country lanes. This was obviously a very distressing experience
really nice location by the side of a country lane. occasional traffic until early evening but didn't hear anything until dawn the next day. usually people stopping to walk their dogs. rubbish bin was overflowing though so unsure how often its emptied. slight slope but nothing too dramatic. would recommend.
very quiet at night we had no issues at all, 4G not the best but the view makes up for it. not perfectly level but not the worst either. has a litter bin and access to walking tracks.
We stayed here on 17/01/2023. Fits about 5 vans. There are no ‘no overnight stays’ signs. Magical view above the fog. Next to a public footpath to walk the fields and eventually reach a forest. There was one car that pulled up around 7pm playing music but left before 9pm. Barely any noise from cars as it’s a country road. Slightly uneven ground. 1 bar 4G signal for 3. None for O2. Will return!
