This is a gravel layby at the side of the road. The layby is deep/wide enough to accommodate the width of a campervan or motorhome. No amenities. No signage with restrictions. Good spot for night parking or for a pit stop during the day. Road traffic noise is what you would expect when parking in a layby. Beautiful views of the mountains.

This is a bumpy lay-by. Ok for a night, fare bit of road noise which doesn’t bother me for a sleep. Probably enough parking for several vans cars. Good reception. Greggs and services 2 mins up the road. Better park up half a mile further under a green bridge.
09/09/22 - Spent one night here. Very busy road didn’t seem to quieten at all. Extremely bumpy. Last resort kind of park up
Good find. Quite uneven in places, but a good alternative to the other layby with verge about 6 miles up the road, which is currently closed due to roadworks.
