Horrible experience. We went to the cinema and decided to park up for the night. Car park level, well lit with security cameras. However, we were disturbed by someone trying repeatedly to get into our motorhome. Turned out to be a drunken youth who refused to go away and was determined to try and get in. Made numerous threats before eventually leaving. We packed up after midnight and moved.
It’s a really nice spot, cameras, good lighting, great food options, however, when we parked a nice local bus driver parked next to us asked if we “planned to stay the night” and it “wouldn’t be a good idea with southern plates” due to the housing estate nearby being a “rough enough spot” needless to say we didn’t stay and moved on. I hope northern plates don’t have to deal with this down south.
stayed overnight hear had a peaceful night after everything shut, very busy area when restaurants and arcade opened but very quiet afterwards, very safe as well, we parked at side of arcade to protect from the wind
stop for a couple of nights here peaceful nights sleep used the complex for the spa Steam room jacuzzi and shower £8 you can use other things for that price had a meal at the blue bear fabulous make sure you park at top and down to your right where it's free
We had a quiet night thanks to all the CCTV cameras. Would recommend Del Toro steak house, we had a great meal there. This is not a stopover for vegetarians 6 steakhouses and a KFC!
