Campsite right on the beach! Places for tourers and also permanent caravans. Spotless facilities. For £15 an absolute bargain! No shops nearby so stock up in Campbeltown first.

Good base for exploring but with direct access to beach. Flat, grass pitches remained hard even after rain. View of sea obstructed by static caravans but I guess the price reflects this. Small facilities block which is super clean. 1 shower and 3 toilets on each side plus good laundry (£1 coins - 3x for wash and 2x or 4x for dryer). Owners very attentive and friendly. No pre booking but not busy

A cracking little campsite on the east coast of Kintyre. Great for a doing a services stop. Very hot showers, clean and tidy facilities. Reasonably priced Laundry machines and a little beach out front for a wee meander in between. And at £15 per night plus £3 for EHU, it’s great value. and Edward the owner is a really helpful guy. What’s not to like. If only more sites adopted Edwards approach

Very nice emplacements on meticulous lawns with views if you park with that in mind.Great value friendly best ever showers and Scotland’s most powerful hand ( and other bits) dryers!Saw lots of seals. A brilliant don’t miss it.A visiter sans hésitation !

A pleasant site between the road and beach. 15 pounds with hookup and 3 more for electricity. Full hook up, no water at each pitch if required. Toilets are basic but clean and good supply of hot water. One shower for each and two toilets. We used the laundry at 3 pound coins for a decent full size wash and it did an excellent job. Dryer for 2 pounds per 20 mins if needed. The midges came out at dusk so we headed inside. Edward the owner comes around and prefers cash. We liked the beach and had a swim in the warm waters and a great walk along its sandy shoreline. The village is small with no services and the road is quieter at night. Recommended stop before Campeltown.

Es gibt kein “Office”. Auf dem Parkplatz steht auf dem Eingangsschild eine Handynummer, um sich anzumelden. Der nette Herr kommt dann in wenigen Minuten, kassiert und händigt ein Beleg mit Zugangscode für den Sanitärbereich aus. Wir hatten freie Platzwahl, weil nur noch ein weiteres Pärchen da war. Der Ort bietet nicht viel, aber wir konnten hier Spaziergänge am Strand machen und abschalten.

lovely little site, slight trouble with the hot water when we arrived but soon rectified. grateful for launderette facilities- £3 per wash and £2 for 20 mins of drying. Few static caravans which take the front row but great facilities.

We loved this site! It was half the price of all other sites, £18 with EHU. The facilities are not as modern looking as many other sites but they are spotlessly clean and the shower was really good compared to many other sites where the water can often run hot and cold. The campers are at the back of the site but if you pitch just right, you still get a good view of the beach pictured above, in between the caravans. Also, the beach is literally 30 seconds to walk to and is a beautiful, clean and peaceful place. Caerdach Garden is a must to visit too! It is a 10 minute walk from the site, situated in a privately owned property this garden was designed and maintained by its owners to a standard that would rival many National Trust gardens. The owners are so lovely and it felt like a real privilege to visit.
