Had a great nights sleep here, reasonably quiet considering it's next to a main road. Earplugs may be beneficial to very light sleepers however I didn't need mine! Had a nice wander around town in morning!

A short stay free overnight unrestricted parking with no height restrictions. It's a small wooded carpark with about 20 free spaces, it's shared with a kebab van which shuts at 10pm every night. Free toilets but shut at 8pm and open at 8am unless you have a radar key. Various takeaway outlets within walking distance.

thesolheims23/12/2025We stayed here for a few hours and had some dinner from the kebab van, but it wasn’t some where that we felt comfortable staying. But that’s more because we live in a tiny village where it’s very quiet and it seemed like it might be a noisy night there. As your right in the town. Very muddy too, but the ground was solid enough, just a bit messy.
AniO29/07/2025Great car park, easy to forget you're in town! We parked at the end of the car park along the hedge/trees. Like it says, some noise from the kebab truck generator until 10pm but really not a big deal. Then super quiet until morning. I recommend it, especially on a hotter day, the trees are great!
muesli1316/03/2025Stayed here last night. Some slight road noise. Kebab van food was yummy (they’re open til 10pm so expect some noise from the generator until then) would stay here again.

Stayed for one night. There is a kebab van open till 10pm running a generator in the car park so can be a little noisy/busy until that shuts but had a peaceful night after that. Road next to car park gets busy for the morning rush hour. 24 hour stay only according to sign at entrance.

i stayed here for one night. very peaceful flat land and good for a stop over if travelling onwards. no faculty's, but there are bins in the park

We stayed in this rural car park for a few hours and had a quiet lunch. It’s a few metres away to some public toilets which were particularly clean ( paper and liquid soap provided ).
