(M30 8AP) Eccles - Duke's Dr

Nice mostly quiet place I’ve been staying there 3 or 4 nights a week for the last couple of months never had anybody bothering me. Sometimes there are kids playing music and beeping their horns but they only hang around for 1/2 hour or so and are gone by about 9:30. I haven’t been there at weekends so can’t comment on what it’s like then

Nice quiet spot, fills up with cars in the morning but not too full that you'd be in the way. Mainly full of dog walkers and runners.

Really flat, quiet, large carpark. Lovely dog walk in the morning along the old railway line. A few other campers here so felt safe. Great spot for heading to Chill Factore, would definitely stay again.

Brilliant place to stop nice and quiet, although I did stay here on a Friday night and the car park gets very busy on the Saturday morning as there is a ParkRun very close by. An excellent coffee van is there from early morning as well.

Really nice overnight parking. it's level and it's quiet. in the morning we saw several squirrels. Highly recommend.

Parfait pour passer la nuit, beaucoup de monde en journée, mais à partir de 21h c'est très calme. Quelques rares passages de véhicules, mais rien de dérangeant. Le parking est nouveau très prisé le matin avec les promeneurs.

nice overnight park up.  few cars close by but didn't bother us.  quiet at night.   extremely busy in the morning.  nice dog walk close by.

Stayed here twice now as it's convenient for when I visit the office. Friendly dog walkers into the evening and very quiet overnight. Great for dog walking, and there are a couple of pubs in easy walking distance.

Few cars in and out until about midnight, but still nice and quiet. Two minute walk to the canal, which is lovely. 10 minute cycle into Eccles. WARNING: One end of the car park has what we are calling 'drainage holes' in the ground. I hopped out of the van and landed in the perfect spot to break my ankle. Can't really blame the car park for that as such, but do be careful!

brilliant spot. no height barriers quiet overnight. flat with plenty of spaces suitable for all sizes of van. if you are a parkrunner then the start is just a short 2 min walk away. recommended. no charges either.

Big spaces. Busy with dog walkers and families walking. 3 caravans grouped together, clearly set up for long term permanent living. Didn’t meet them as arrived in the dark. Felt uneasy so cooked tea and moved on. Use coordinates not post code otherwise you’ll end up at church.

Spent a quiet night here.

We stayed here for two nights and had no problems at all. A very good place to spend the night far away from any road noise and loads of spaces that can fit any size of Motorhome.

Quiet at night, you can barely hear the traffic. Bins emptied out on the morning by the council. Buddy on the morning - walkers, joggers etc.

Nice and quiet through the week stopped here Thursday nite and Friday nite .Saturday morning was busy with park run event

don't park here. I had my windows smashed. this area is dangerous.

Stopped here for 1 night. Arrived late and there was only 1 other camper and a car here. Really quiet and loads of space!

Gates overgrown, no signs, free parking, nice spot for in the city
