Camping agréable, espace détente avec table et chaise dans un serre. Douches et toilettes, lave linge et sèche linge. (Seul problème le sèche linge qui ne fonctionnait pas correctement).

Ordentlicher Campingplatz, große gute Duschen! Tageweise Foodtruck mit diversen Hotdogs und Smoothie.

Someone decided to mow the lawn without a grass catcher, and now all the clippings are left on the grass. Guess where it accumulates. The paper roll in the toilet is squezed in so it does not turn and you cannot get it out. Shower water is too hot to stand. Not a single hook in the shower.

Great camp site with both EHU and none EHU, facilities were clean and warm with free showers. Takeaway van for tea/coffee/bacon rolls available in the morning. Strictly no checkin before 3pm

good facilities, hot showers. short walk into village . pub sells great fish and chips from a van outside. good place for a stop after driving over the amazing Applecross pass.

Great campsite with good facilities , 2 toilet / shower blocks , 1 washing up area that is close to reception so fairly long walk if you are on the back field , drive over grey waste / fresh water fill and toilet disposal , EHU available and dog friendly

De route er naar toe is prachtig. De plaatsen zijn verhard. De wasmachine en droger zijn wat verouderd. Vooral de droger werkt niet optimaal. Verder alles prima. Als je op het achterste veld staat (waar de uitzichten het beste zijn) is het redelijk ver lopen naar de afwasgelegenheid. Het toilet/doucheblok op het achterste veld heeft geen afwas gelegenheid helaas.

Fab campsite. Road through the mountains to get here is just immense. One field with view of the sea, the other further back no sea view but still in impressive landscape of hills. Excellent pub in the village.

Wer den Weg hierher gewagt hat findet einen schönen Platz oberhalb von Applecross. Man kann gut ins Dorf spazieren und ausgezeichneten Fish&Chips essen und auf den Atlantic schauen.

Fijne camping. kwam aan zonder reservering, kon zo een non-EHU plek krijgen. 2 nachten gebleven. douch/wc niet nieuw, maar heel prima. wasmachine £3,- droger £1,- p/10min. fijn gebruik van gemaakt. Mensen gaan wel vaak vroeg weg sochtends. Dus optijd wakker van het geluid dat dat maakt. opzich geen ramp. personeel is heel aardig.

It's a nice site with decent facilities. We turned up in mid-Aug with no booking and were able to get a non-EHU pitch with no problems. The sign says guests can turn up throughout the night as long as they check in to reception to pay in the morning. Just drive up to the barrier and it opens automatically.

Just a simple campground, too expensive (42£ campervan +4pax +electric) for old showers, no views, and bad wifi. Applecross Inn the one and only INN, to book in advance for Dinner at high season. New Café closed often. You Must bring your food to Applecross for evening.

Stayed for the night. Was friendly staff and very helpful. Clean toilets and showers. Nice location next to the sea.

Fantastische plek, ook voor een paar nachten. Meesten blijven maar 1 nacht. Sanitair prima, veel ruimte, wifi doet het achterop terrein niet en het gras zou wat vaker gemaaid mogen worden.

deux blocs sanitaires : un ancien proche de la réception et un neuf plus en bas du camping. endroit de rêve notamment car on y croise des cerfs ! Le pub d Apple cross, le fish and chips et les glaces locales sont absolument géniaux. tout le monde y est très sympas! On recommande.

Great campsite. Lovely welcome and beautiful views over the water. The showers and toilets are all individual cubicals that are big. There are no baby changing facilities. The town is a very short walk down the river which is very pretty. The pub is really welcoming and has the most stunning views, right on the water. There are not many electric hook ups so would recommend booking in advance.

Ein sehr schöner Ort zum Übernachten! Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln. Für eine Nacht, zwei Erwachsene, einen Van,ohne Strom haben wir £27 gezahlt. Vollkommen okay! Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und gepflegt, der Empfang war sehr freundlich und der CP ist absolut idyllisch gelegen. Wir konnten sogar Hirsche beobachten!Große Empfehlung von uns.

Nous y avons passé deux nuits excellentes pour 27£ à 2 personnes sans électricité, mais incluant tous les services camping-car : eaux propres, grises et noires. Accueil également très sympathique. Tout un tas de chemins de balade à pied alentour et des cerfs, des biches et des faons un peu partout.

De bergpas heenweg was wel een uitdaging, maar de tocht de moeite waard. Ga je douchen dan hou je gelijk het toilet bezet. Niet echt handig. Mooie harde pitch met of zonder stroom. Wil je stroom dan paar dagen tevoren reserveren. De pitches zonder stroom zijn er genoeg. Vriendelijke ontvangst en gelijk bij het dorpje. Lekker eten bij applecross Inn, fantastisch eten daar voor een redelijke prijs.

Kleiner , etwas in die Jahre gekommener Campingplatz. Die Cabins sind mit dem mindesten ausgestattet. Hat für eine Nacht super gepasst.

Gepflegte Anlage, Sanitäranlagen sauber, Wifi nur an Rezeption, die Camper werden in einer Reihe auf der Wiese aufgestellt, also es geht auch etwas charmanter... 23£/Nacht für 2 Pers. im Van ohne Strom, 3£/Waschmaschine, 1£/10 min. Dryer, wirklich lohnen tut sich der Platz, weil die süße Mini-Promenade von Applecross mit dem Ausblick auf die vielen Hebriden-Inseln wirklich richtig toll ist!!

- der Weg dort hin ist eine Herausforderung. Je nach Verkehr und Größe des Wohnmobils ist es echt nicht einfach. - Waschmaschine und Trockner hat und 7£ gekostet. Meiner Meinung nach zu viel - Teilweise eigene Sanitäranlagen (WC, Dusche und Waschbecken in einem) -Platz und Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber

Nice campsite, showers were a bit low pressure and cool but might have just been a bad day. Very nice well maintained and host told us he has lots of plans for improvement/development.

We were there the second day of it being open. I think it’s been recently renovated. Lovely staff, great facilities for the price. Lovely pub within walking distance, great food and beer, also offer cash back if needed. Just what we needed after the rural NC500. Even saw 2 stags whilst we were there! Thank you x

Fantastic place to stay , so helpful, allowed us to have multiple dogs on leads , accepts roof tents. Lovely warm and clean facilities. Can’t wait to come back !

£23 for two people in a SWB campervan on a large pitch with electricity. Views are great, staff are very friendly and short walk to great pub. £4 for the washing machine, £1 for 10 minutes int he tumble dryer. Facilities are in need of an upgrade, WiFi very poor and no phone signal at all (I had an urgent phone to make and the receptionist let me use their landline), but can’t grumble at the price

Great campsite and at the right price... if you need food there's a pub at the sea front, but book in advance as it's very busy... also the campsite can get waterlogged in some places, so avoid the dips in the camp grounds and you'll be fine... everything is spotless including the toilets and showers...

avoid, we stayed as only campsite in applecross. 27 without ehu most expensive one so far on our route. toilets are disgusting and filthy no matter when we went. finally found a newer block which were slightly better. was told to park by the fence yet no one else was yet round the other side was the views, wasn't offered here yet others were. can't leave after 9pm as can't get back on to site.

Nach dem Cattle Pass loht sich eine Nacht auf dem Platz.Im oberen Bereich sind neue Sanitäranlagen gebaut,sauber und kostenfrei.Bei unserem Aufenthalt war ein Foodtruck am Platz, sehr leckere Burger mit heimischen Produkten.Die Besitzer sind sympathisch und sehr freundlich.

We paid £27 for a small camper on sloping grass pitch with no electric. The site is basic and ageing, the toilets, showers and laundry room were damp and not very clean. For the amount of campers we saw the facilities seemed quite stretched. 1 washing machine & 2 showers. The view from the pub and the nice guy at reception are its only redeeming features. Very basic compared with others on NC500.

Camping très propre et bien agencé. Douche chaude. Petit food truck pour petit dej et dîner sur le pouce ( pub et resto fermant très tôt) nous n’avions pas réservé et nous sommes présentes 5 mn avant fermeture. Accueil très sympathique. Plusieurs douches et toilettes et tous les services à disposition.

Cold showers, told where to park despite acres of space, and definitely overpriced at 27 quid. There wasn’t much choice in the area, but I wouldn’t return. The pub and food down in the village was fabulous tho!

Tarifs dans la moyenne (27£ pour 2 adultes et un van, sans électricité). Sanitaires très moyens : pas très propres, douche tiède, sèche-mains en panne. Lave-linge, sèche-linge et éviers pas très propres non plus. Food truck très sympa dans le camping.

Ben hier 20 jaar geleden geweest en nu weer. Toen was het een klein, kneuterig campingkje, nu is het minimaal drie keer zo groot en een stuk duurder. 29 jaar geleden was het bijbehorende greenhouse een soort theehuis en nu staat het er vervallen bij. Ontbijten in Applecross Inn is er ook niet meer bij, alleen voor hotelgasten. Wel elke ochtend en avond een foodtruck op de camping met prima eten. Sfeertje is ook prima verder.

Alleen lozen zwart en grijs water, even melden en betalen bij receptie. £7. Voorziening is direct bij de ingang, dus perfect te bereiken.

Really nice place very efficiently run, really busy people still arriving at 6.40. They have a van that offer on site food which I went for as it looked good in fact it was delicious “Applecross Botha” fresh hot and very tasty dinner. No 3 plenty of EE

5 stars just because of the location. Staying 2 days after 12 1 night stops. Enjoyed a meal and a drink at the Applecross Inn, (booking recommended), in the sunshine.

Kleiner gepflegter Campingplatz, leider voll, als wir ankamen. Wir durften trotzdem bleiben und unseren Camper auf dem Parkplatz vor der Rezeption parken. Duschen und Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Würden hier jederzeit wieder anhalten.

Not cheap but 100% worth it due to excellent facilities. Wet rooms and showers were the best we’ve come across on the NC500, and all pitches are well spaced, so a very comfortable experience. Was originally disappointed by the lack of a view from the site itself, but just a 5 minute walk down the road to the pub for amazing evening views!…

Buon campeggio con buoni servizi. Il segnale wireless non è presente in tutto il campeggio, cosi come le piazzole con elettricità. Ottimi i panini dello street food all'ingresso del campeggio.

Assez cher, 40£ pour un emplacement non délimité sur herbe, sans électricité, van, 2 adultes 3 enfants. Sanitaires vieillots. N’avons pas testé les douches. Wifi à l’accueil. La quatrième étoile revient au food truck Bothy bar tenu par deux jeunes très sympathiques cet été, petits dej et en-cas de qualité. Il manque un abri pour manger ou s’assoir au sec. Réservation nécessaire pour le pub.

Der Platz liegt wirklich schön und man hat eine tolle Aussicht, besonders von den Plätzen am Zaun im hinteren Bereich. Wir hätten sonst 4 Punkte gegeben, aber das neue Waschhaus mit den beschriebenen „Badezimmern“ hat bedauerlicherweise keine Einrichtung zum Geschirrspülen, so dass man dafür den doch recht weiten Weg zur Rezeption machen muss und dort gibt für den ganzen Platz nur zwei Spülbecken.

Lovely site, we were in the area a lot earlier than anticipated so phoned ahead and they were happy for us to arrive early which was much appreciated. Lots of pitches available, the site filled up relatively quickly. Facilities were really good, rather than separate toilets and showers, it was like your own little bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink with the added bonus of a heated towel rail.

Très agréable camping. Calme et tout était propre. On était en tente, on a payé 20£. Il y a une machine à laver dispo (mais on ne l’a pas vu.)

Sehr schöner Platz mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht aufs Wasser. Liegt leicht erhöht oberhalb des Ortes, der aber von 5min zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Der Pub im Ort ist gut besucht, Tische drinnen sollte man früh genug reservieren. Draußen hat’s aber genug freie Tische. Dort steht auch ein Imbissstand an dem es gutes (und reichhaltiges) Fish and Chips gibt. Sanitäranlagen etwas alt aber ok und sauber.

Loved this spot. We stayed here an extra night due to the pleasantness of the site and proximity to a great pub. If you get a pitch without electricity you'll get a better view over the sea towards Skye but any spot is nice.

Fantastic spot, was pretty quiet when we visited in March. We were given plot 13 which gives a stunning view over the Bay. Paid £23 for 2 adults in a campervan. The applecross inn serves good food and beer and allows dogs. Great for a morning walk around the way too. Nice clean shower/toilet block as well. Recommended!

Stayed on 19/10/2021. lovely site, no hook-up free when we arrived so went for a hard standing pitch. the tracks between each fields could do with having the holes filled but that would be my only negative. Great view from the field overlooking the sea .

Very friendly campsite. Booked in the night before and got a hard standing pitch with electric hook-up right next to an immaculately clean toilet/shower block with 6 idividual wetrooms for £16.50. Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed fisn & chips from the van onsite (which also provides breakfast in the morning) and made use of all the facilities. Excellent value for money!

Last minute stop over and didn’t pre book. Popped into reception and got a non EHU pitch on grass for £11 for the night plus use of facilities which was great. Hot food plus breakfast available in the morning. Toilets were clean but only two showers so actually gave it a miss in the morning. Easy walk to Applecross centre and pub with great views of Skye over the water. Would stay again.

Only campsite at Applecross. We had booked in advance and it was actually one of the higher priced sites along our NC500 route, was also one of the dirtiest shower facilities. Toilets were fine, but showers not. Applecross Inn along the road had lovely food. The site had a burger van which sold dinner foods & breakfast rolls.

Decent site, plenty of space and somewhere to buy food and drink until 8pm on the evening. Only 3 stars because the gents shower and toilet facilities were not clean at all and the shower I used was using cold water as much as hot meaning I couldn't wash the suds out very quickly as the showers went cold and and as they pleased. My partner said that the women's showers where OK.

Nice campsite. Modern facilities. A good night's sleep. Good pub down the hill which we booked in advance via their separate website. Didn't feel busy although site full. Got EE 4G on site and even managed to stream a rugby game with it..

Site itself is ok, lots of room for campers to pitch up on the field, bins, fresh water, hot showers etc, all the facilities there but a couple of disappointing things happened - wifi was stated as available but you only get signal when standing outside reception, it doesn’t reach the pitches, and we stayed to do laundry but were told by a male receptionist that detergent/powder wasn’t available at the campsite and that we had to bring our own (the shop that sold any was shut and we were staying for one night so this was really annoying!) but then 2 hours later after asking other campers if we could buy a pod or any detergent off them, a different female receptionist told us we could actually purchase powder from the campsite?! I would advise bringing your own (in future we’ll be taking our own regardless!). Lesson learned. Pets are allowed but have to be kept on a lead. You can book online on their website which I would advise doing in advance of just arriving. Would’ve been a better experience if the male receptionist was a bit more helpful and wifi actually worked :)

Great Campsie!

Toilets were closed from 11pm-6am due to covid. 10am departure time is early but they allowed us to park in the carpark whilst we headed out on the bikes. Spacious grass camping field.

Good campsite, plenty of tent pitches but limited number of hard pitches -booking in advance is advised. Good facilities and close to pub and shops. free WiFi on campsite.

Hot shower and water £3 per person. Very friendly staff. Stopped off while passing through in order to shower, refill the water and bin our rubbish. They were more than happy to accommodate.

Nada recomendable la carretera A896 entre Applecross y Tornapress!Aunque la carretera que sube la montaña es espectacular,no está preparada para autocaravanas(con la nuestra de 6m hemos sufrido)y ni de coña con remolques: sinuosa,estrecha,con mucho desnivel y algún tramo en obras.Mejor tomar la A896 por la costa.Camping sencillo,con los servicios mínimos.25£/noche(autocaravana,2 adultos, 1 perro)

Book in advance in summer if you need electricity. Reception is closed at lunchtime until 3pm and if you try to book online while waiting site has WiFi near the reception but no telephone signal so impossible to receive SMS payment authorisation from a bank. Book before you reach Applecross is the answer. New impeccable clean toilet block in far field but curious decision to have toilets combined with a shower and washbasin (6 of them) and no separate toilets. Nice site.

Increible que en un pais de lluvias constantes, muchisimos campings no esten preparados para las caravanas, porque el suelo es todo cesped y se hundiria. No me lo puedo creer. MUY MAL!

Quiet, clean, level. Friendly staff and great opportunity for spotting wildlife. Don't miss the thatched roundhouse on the footpath from the top of the campsite lower field, or the Applecross Inn and their amazing views.

Camping très étendu avec un seul lieu pour les sanitaires. attention si vous êtes loin. sanitaires loin d'être propre, wifi en panne et pas de vidange des eaux grises.
