Perfect for families with the amazing Peter Pan playground. Plenty of benches for picnic. Toilets were opened at 8 am.
Une vue imprenable sur les montagnes Cairngorms. Idéal pour les familles car il y a un jeu extérieur Neverland, des bois et un grand terrain. Grand parking avec beaucoup d'espace et facile d'accès - nous avons conduit ici dans un Sprinter LWB tirant une moto sur une remorque d'environ 10 m de long au total. D'un autre côté, c'est un endroit local très populaire avec de nombreux promeneurs de chiens. Il y a beaucoup de monde après le coucher du soleil avec des familles jouant au football avec des torches et le conseil vient vers 7 heures du matin pour vider les poubelles. Un bel endroit pour faire une halte d'une nuit mais plus pour plus longtemps je dirais.
Stunning views across to the Cairngorms mountains. Great for families as there’s a Neverland outdoor play, woodlands and a large field. Large car park with plenty of space and v easy to access - we drove here in a LWB Sprinter pulling a motorbike on a trailer so about 10m long in total. On the other hand - it’s a very popular local spot with loads of dog walkers. It’s busy past sunset with families playing football with torches and the council comes about 7am to empty the rubbish bins. A beautiful place to stopover for a night but not for any longer, I would say.
Atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Cairngorms-Berge. Großartig für Familien, da es ein Neverland-Spiel im Freien, Wälder und ein großes Feld gibt. Großer Parkplatz mit viel Platz und leichtem Zugang - wir fuhren hier in einem LWB-Sprinter mit einem Motorrad auf einem Anhänger, der insgesamt etwa 10 m lang war. Auf der anderen Seite ist es ein sehr beliebter lokaler Ort mit vielen Hundeausführern. Nach Sonnenuntergang ist es voll mit Familien, die mit Fackeln Fußball spielen, und der Rat kommt gegen 7 Uhr morgens, um die Mülleimer zu leeren. Ein schöner Ort für einen Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht, aber nicht für länger, würde ich sagen.

Amplio estacionamiento con mucho espacio y de fácil acceso: manejamos aquí en un LWB Sprinter tirando de una motocicleta en un remolque que tenía unos 10 m de largo en total. Por otro lado, es un lugar local muy popular con muchos paseadores de perros. Se llena después del atardecer con familias jugando al fútbol con antorchas y el consejo llega alrededor de las 7 a.m. para vaciar los contenedores. Un buen lugar para pasar la noche, pero no por más tiempo diría yo.

très bon emplacement pour une nuit (calme, facile d'accès et belle vue). nous avons un camping car de 7m et ça n'a pas posé de problèmes.

JuliePascalin07/07/2025Quelques places avec la vue directement sur les montagnes. Joli parc où beaucoup de personnes viennent balader leurs chiens. Très calme dès la fin de le milieu se soirée jusqu'au matin.
haz2220/05/2025Stayed for 1 night. A bit of coming and going during the evening but quiet at night. Dog walkers arrived early in the morning but weren’t a problem. Nice place to stop for a night. We managed to get here and park in our 6.8m motor home.

visited here during the day. Worked from the van as there was great signal. ideal location if travelling with dog. short walk into the town. everyone was friendly and welcoming. views are stunning.

Good spot for families with the park, and excellent sport climbing in the old quarry. Parked in what we thought was a quiet spot at the other side of the park but were disturbed by some wee ‘bams’ setting off fireworks right outside the van.

A truly recommendable place, even for a set with a camping trailer. The youth finished playing with firecrackers before midnight. So you could sleep well. And the neighbors are quiet and peaceful. From the parking lot you enter the cemetery

Nous avons pu garer notre 7m sans problème en hors saison (fin octobre). Quelques passages mais rien de gênant. Le lever du soleil avec les couleurs du ciel était superbe, avec vue dégagée sur les montagnes. Pas de commodités.

Nous y avons passé une nuit um dimanche soir. Je confirme le commentaire précédent. L'endroit est parfait, nos enfants ont profité du grand parc juste à coté. Les toilettes sont ouvertes en journée. par contre, il y avait un groupe de jeunes qui ont été bruyant jusqu'à 2h00 du matin...

A lovely space with beautiful views. However, the local youths were not happy about us being here and made every effort to disturb us. We remained in the van and did not retort. They finally gave up shortly before 2am!!!

Arrived early evening. Lots of dog walkers & kids around playing in the park & recreational ground. Plenty of bins. The police came around a couple of times. We were undisturbed. Slept well being the only moho here all night. It was very pleasant & lovely views to wake up to.
