sabrinalangenau22/08/2022Kein Overnight Stay erlaubt! Zudem für Wohnmobile schwer zu erreichen, da man in der Zufahrtsstraße innerorts die Außenspiegel einklappen muss.

officieel kun je er vanaf 2022 niet meer overnachten. MAAR, als je voor 16.00 aan iemand van de staf vraagt, met je meest betrouwbare gezicht, belovend dat je er geen zooitje van maakt en de volgende ochtend ontbijt in de stables nuttigt (ongeveer 8 pond p.p), of je mag overnachten is de kans groot dat dit mag. Ons is het ook gelukt.
claude.deparis27/07/2022Effectivement le parking est très bien placé pour visiter le village tout en étant retiré et tranquille. Nous comptions y passer la nuit mais des affiches toutes récentes interdisant viennent d'être installées nous sommes donc partis plus loin. Dommage, le site semblait très agréable.....
FeeeNdr16/07/2022Très bon emplacement pour visiter le beau village de Falkland. Je n’ai vu aucun panneau d’interdiction concernant les nuits en véhicule.

Lovely wee spot with amazing walk up to a waterfall you can actually walk behind. Had a wander around Falkland Palace & gardens which are impressive, followed by a couple of drinks and a bite to eat at the Stag Inn, with a live jazz jam to boat (every second Sunday, fantastic atmosphere & music, highly recommend it)

Very quiet and secluded spot at Estate car park. Very dark with a small burn running behind the car park. Virtually no traffic and went for bike ride round estate following day. Access is along a quite narrow road so care should be taken. Plenty of bins for litter or dog waste and the coffee at the centre is great.
