Came here to relax for sometime & weren't disappointed at all. Plenty going on around to keep us interested.

leeholden20/01/2024Very good daytime car park, plenty of space for large vans, no marked bays. This is the new car park created when the bridge was rebuilt, there’s also a new overflow area half a mile down the lake. We paid £5.56 on app. A warden came round to check. Very good for a half day visit. The previous post is talking about a different place for the pub.

Stayed in the Pooley Bridge pub car park. Ask permission first, long gravel car park used by pub goers and those staying at the hotel so can get noisy in the late eve but was a perfect stop over for us! Space for small campers. Pub food is a must, amazing portions and great service. We went in winter but has a huge pub garden which I imagine is lovely in sun! Dog friendly.

No overnight parking is allowed….
