Small carpark with entry points to the wyre forest, great for long walks, mountain bike trails, woodland walks. Can get very busy during peak times so would advise to arrive early morning or late evening, more suited to swb to mwb vehicles, quiet location during nighttime, just hear owls /deer.

500 metres of very tight access lane with few passing places. About 10 car spaces and popular with walkers.

Small car park, ideal for my micro camper. By the time I arrived at 8pm there were 3 vans which left at 9.30pm. I was the only vehicle all through the night, until dog walkers appeared 6am onwards. At 10pm there were youths on foot making noise for a short while, apart from that I had a very quiet peaceful night. This is important for me as a solo female. Only down side is low signal/4G

Stayed here for one night. Arrived around 6:30pm and was only one other car that left shortly after so it was just me and the owls at night, joined by the woodpeckers in the morning. It's next to a trail called the Butterfly trail and about 15/20 mins in is a gateway on the right that leads to the Knowles Mill. You can go in and look around. It was a lovely morning walk before leaving.

Great spot! Not entirely level but nothing some levelers cannot solve. Access is not for the faint-hearted but we managed with our Sprinter LWB (7m long and 3m high). Only a few light scratches from bushes on the sides. Some (dog) walkers in the evening and morning. Quiet night.

Lovely place for a quiet night, no problems in a T4 Caravelle. A lot of dog walkers in the morning, but they were all so friendly, and didn’t mind us parking there. Also, please keep this place tidy for us all to enjoy :-)

Beautiful to stay, quiet, secluded. Perfect for little campers/caravans.

Peaceful, small car park. Lanes might be a problem for an unconfident driver but we did it in 2 LWB vans in the dark without an issue. Dog walkers around in the morning but no issues.

As others have said, a quiet but small car park in a lovely location. I stayed one night prior to a walk in the forest the next day. It was perfect, I was the only one there, apart from the owls.

Couldn’t find the car park and had a terrible job getting the motorhomes out of the small lanes in reverse!!

Stayed here for one night, we arrived at about 8:30pm and the car park was empty so we had a peaceful night to ourselves. Just be mindful that cars start to turn up in the morning (dog walkers etc).

Great little hideaway. Stayed here for the night. Another camper turned up. Very quiet and was not bothered by anyone at all.

We had a lovely night there, waking with the birds and then great cycle rides in the woods- just our small VW T4 campervan (the road is definitely not good for larger vans). yes it does get busy. We arrived at dusk.

Access roads narrow but passing places. Lovely secluded small car park on edge of forest. Cycling, rambling & birdwatching. Delightful.
