Stayed 2 nights great spot £10 per night and get a £10 per night voucher back to spend in the pub, off license or cafe. There are electric pitches available but are very popular so would need to book in advance. Electric pitch costs £5 more. Staff in pub couldnt be more helpful and friendly. Music in the pub on Sat & Sun evening. Food in the cafe was great and they have 5* rating. We will be back.

Superb site. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere among fellow campers. Water and electric available at certain pitches. All on grass. The voucher scheme is brilliant. Two different English visitors there couldn't believe they were staying for free (+ £5 for electric) Bar, café and off license on site. New toilet and shower block planned for the future. Will definitely be back.

It is a really good camping spot for motorhomes, especially with small kids, a playground for them, very clean area, toilets. Place to empty toilet caset. Only 10£ per night, and you can use it as a voucher for a drink in the bar or breakfast ( its probably in season time)

Came for one night, stayed for 2! Beautiful spot.. glorious views over the lake, bar, cafe, children's playground .. for £10 to spend in bar or cafe if you choose. The local Chinese takeaway delivers to the bar and they will give you a fork to eat it with, and get rid of your rubbish for you.... and friendly too!

Just stopped by for a visit but the spot is great.

The place is fantastic! the correct address is Battery Road 201. You pay 10 Pounds, but you get to spend that in the pub or for breakfast. I would highly recommend having a Guinness at the bar. They have all facilities for your campervan. The people are great fun. I highly recommend this place for a nights stay.

Handy wee stopover, loads of room to park up. £10 per night without ehu (they have ehu but I never asked a price) They gave us a £10 voucher you can use in the cafe next door (home made food) so the parking is really free. The wee cafe closes at 5, there’s a pizza van that arrives at 5.

bar is dog friendly, cafe has incredible food and the over all area is lovely. very cheap and really have 0 issues. will be back.

What a spot! We landed yesterday afternoon for our first visit to the Battery Bar. We were not disappointed. Location, on the shores of Lough Neagh, is stunning. The owner, staff and locals were all so welcoming. We already can't wait to return. Don't miss out.

Everything you need plus a very good view out over Lough Neagh. As at December 2004 still £10 on but voucher still in place. Electric is charged at £10 pn over winter now.

Pub is called The Battery Bar. It’s £10 to park overnight but they give you it back in a voucher for the pub/restaurant or shop next door. £5 for EHU. The atmosphere in the pub is electric! Toilets open all night. Fresh drinking water from the taps. Black water emptying. Fantastic all round.

Came here on a wet night. Brilliant place. Great people. A very quiet park up.

Fantastic site only improved by the staff in the adjoining bar £10 but in reality, free as you get the equivalent in credit to be used in the bar, off licence or takeaway. Beautiful place

Great spot. £10 per night, which is given back in a voucher that you can use in the bar, jaz kitchen or off licence. £15 if you want EHU with a tenner voucher back. Live music on Saturday at times. Dog friendly. Great for open water swimmers, kayaks and paddle boards. Nice walk up to Ardboe Cross, about 1.5m. Chip shop on the way - Tasty Macs ... busy but worth the wait. incredibly friendly.

Wunderschöner Stellplatz. Sehr ruhig. Ja 10 Pfund an der Bar sind nötig. Diese werden aber beim Guinness oder ähnlichem verrechnet. Chef sehr freundlich und entspannt. top Tip.

Things have changed. You now have to register at the bar where you have to pay £10 and you are given a voucher for £10 to spend in the bar, the off-licence or the Café. Electricity is £5 for each day. Around 6 plots have power. There is parking for 30 campers with no height restriction.

Highly recommend. Locals friendly and great kiddies playpark. A bit noisy over the weekend. The Louch still has a lot of green algae so it is not good to swim in. There was quite a lot of birdlife. The smell has gone. We hardly noticed it. Toilets at the Battery Bar and the Life saving centre. Water tap at the Lifesaving centre. We stayed 3 nights withput a problem (except for some midgets)

Spent a quiet night here - the "car boys" were there, but quiet, and went home at midnight. The parking lot has 42 car spaces, so a lot of RV's fit here. There are practically no cars parked, btw. A couple of tents on the lawn. So everybody in great company !

Parking plat très bien situé. Nous avons acheté un excellent fish and chips et sommes venus le manger au pub Battery pub où l'accueil est vraiment top. L'étoile en moins, c'est pour les jeunes qui viennent dans leur voiture, causer, écouter de la musique, moteurs allumés. Ils se collent aux vans alors qu'il y a de la place partout. Une fois qu'ils sont partis... calme absolu, un bonheur !

Great place. Maybe another 3 vans on the tarmac and 5 or 6 on the grass, some cars coming and going and the pub was busy with a function but still we had a great night's sleep. Had a nice pint of Guinness in the pub but had to be up early in the morning to catch the ferry. Didn't use the bins or water. Great location for a stop over before the Belfast ferry.

Stayed herd on 26/5/23. Nice parking area , friendly pub , no food . Chinese closed down , Tasty Macs chipper 10 minutes walk , fish and chips to die for. Few cars arrived after midnight, no hassle, just voices and engines running, a bit unsettling. Left about 1-30 am , all quiet afterwards.

Spent a wonderful night at this gorgeous place. Paddy (the battery bar) and locals made our stay memorable. Thank you all for a great experience in a fabulous location. We will be back

Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Ebener Parkplatz und die Betreiber des Pubs „The Battery Bar“ sind echt nett! Öffentliche Toiletten gleich nebenan und die ganze Nacht geöffnet.

Hi all, I stopped here Monday night 7th November 2022. Due to the fact I tend to travel out of session there was no other users here when I arrived. The Battery Bar not open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The carpark is huge with excellent views across Lough Neagh. That’s definitely a big pond! I would certainly use this location again:-)

Just arrived yesterday its quiet, relaxing scenic and free ! motorhome, van stop over. The owner of the bar also owns this land and welcomes you. The place is tidy with bins for your rubbish, water at back of boat rescue building and toilets. Please keep it clean for everyone but what a beautiful place free !! parking is hard standing and grass. Drink in the pub.

the address is 205 Battery Rd. Easy to find. Loads of space for vans. Pub staff and clientele super friendly. Chinese takeaway had closed down so were redirected to another in Coagh nearby but a pizza company deliver here. There was a private function in the bar but all ended at 12. Very peaceful stay. 3 other vans here. Walks in the area and a play park for kids. Use of loos.

great wee spot to stay, right on the Lough. Play park for kids and plenty of grass for dogs /kids to run about on. Toilet at harbour you can use if needs be. Battery bar right beside has entertainment, spoke to owner of Bar and land we parked on lovely friendly man. Chippy and shop within walking distance.

A beautiful place overlooking the Lough. Sadly we must have caused upset by parking here as somebody repeatedly banged loudly on the side of the van at 3am!! A very frightening wake up call. Such a shame, a lovely place.

Stayed a Sunday night. Very busy during the day (the sun was out) and very quiet at night after 22:00. No disturbance and felt safe. Didn't visit the bar or seek water/electricity so can't comment. Will use again. 4G strong (EE & Vodafone)

very nice spot, lake and woodland around, however it is also a very busy place, cars coming and going, at the time of writing just before 10pm not offensive but occasional loud music and boys racer, definitely our first and last stop here

Brilliant stopover! Welcomes mohos and vans - there were a few of us parked up overnight once the day visitors had gone. Seems you can just pick your spot on the grass, or there is a shadier tarmac car park. Nice, friendly pub, but apart than that there’s just the lifeboat building loos that we didn’t use and bins. A gorgeous spot to just enjoy relaxing with lovely views over the Lough.

Great spot! Soo much space and views are fab it's beside a pub, we stayed on a Thursday night and it was pretty quiet. There is also a Chinese. The RNLI building does have a toilet that was open but no loo roll and door closes but doesn't lock but was still handy. 2 other motorhomes there on the night we stayed. I will definitely be back

I’m back again and pub was open friendly beer garden and good craic.

A great spot as last person commented. Just pity pub wasn’t open but Hugh in off licence was top man. Chinese was friendly and nice food. Will return when bar is open for sure.

Stayed many nights here. Great pub on site with Chinese takeaway next door. Water and toilets at lifeboat station. Very peaceful and friendly people. Waste bins dotted about. Great views of lough Neagh. Recommend a stopover to everyone. Parking in car park at dead end so traffic quietens at night. Lovely walks as well. Groceries half mile up the road in village or petrol station.

Spent a great, peaceful day and night at this spot. Wonderful views, wonderful walks and very welcoming people. Toilets available at the lifeboat building. Also, great Guinness in the nearby pub.

Didn’t find any facilities- just treat it as a car park and it is superb - no one else all night

Just stayed here for 1 Night it’s a lovely spot looking over the Lake. I had a few cars pull into the car park thought the evening but none after 2330. I didn’t use the pub or need the facilities so can’t comment.

Endroit magnifique, sans service. Une nuit très calme, mais, en soirée, le parking est fréquenté par des jeunes faisant beaucoup de bruits avec leurs moteurs. Magnifique vue sur le lac au levé du soleil.

Un coin super pour passer la nuit, le bar génial, le resto chinois sympa, par contre il n’y a aucun service, mais ce n’est pas très grave car le site est génial.

Tres tranquille avec une vue sympathique sur le lac nous sommes arrivés tard et repartis tôt et je n'ai pas trouvé la zone pour vider les toilettes et les eaux grises peut être en s'adressant au Battery Bar sinon l'eau du lac est douce donc pour recharger les réservoirs il faut juste un peu d'énergie

Endroit très sympa, calme, possibilité de se ravitailler en eau, électricité. Resto chinois à côté du pub très bon. Mais surtout, les gens sont super sympas !

The best part of this site is the pub. Friendly people, helpful owner, and great Guinness. Very quiet at night, with toilets in the lifeboat house, and pub.

Tapez plutôt battery bar sur votre gps, le spot est juste après à droite.

Coin très calme et paysage très agréable. Propriétaire du pub extrêmement sympathique et accueillant.
