lovely spot very quiet off the beaten track new mobile mast 50m from parkup full 4g signal on EE

Remote wild camp/parking spot for a night. Public toilets at the bottom of the road in Tarbet. Signal/4G pretty poor.

xellos20012/05/2025Our favourite spot so far! Luckily it was not too windy. Very quiet all night. Parking was easy for our 6m motorhome. Someone from the council came by to check on the ashes of a bonfire that was out already. Be careful with those during these dry times. The council guy was very friendly and left quickly.

Feiner Platz. Wir hatten mit unserem 6.40m Kastenwagen eine ruhige Nacht. Nur sehr wenige Fahrzeuge kamen vorbei . Bitte haltet den Platz sauber.

sehr schöner Platz mit toller Aussicht direkt neben der Stromleitung und dem Funkmast. direkt an der Straße mit wenig Verkehr. Allerdings sind wir wieder weitergefahren, da es zu stark gewindet hat.

Guter Stellplatz für eine Nacht, sehr ruhig. Die Parkplätze vorher waren alle bereits belegt, daher ist ein zeitiges Kommen sinnvoll, hatten wirklich Glück. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Handa Island am nächsten Morgen. Schöner Sonnenuntergang. Toiletten am Ende der Straße bei der Fähre. Bei wenig Wind können die Midges ein Problem werden, lässt sich am regeln.

Best spot we had for now. The vieu is amazing. The place very quiet at night and you have a stunning view on handa island and the sea if you walk around L.. We were two van last night and share the space easily.

Nice little spot, but extremely windy. We stood here last night. There is place for two campers if carefully parked. The road to get there is also very higly recommend. You can drive a very nice loop.

De la place pour 2 vans max. Vraiment en bord de route, mais très peu de passage et plus rien la nuit. Parfait pour prendre le ferry pour Handa le lendemain!

Perfect spot for a night if going to or from Handa island. Ferry is 10 minutes at the bottom of the hill (longer coming up!) No signal despite being metres from an EE mast! Highly recommend visiting the island.

Gorgeous view with plenty of room. You can walk down to the ocean or a lake on either side with a nearby hill to watch the sunset over the ocean.

Lovely little spot with amazing views, just off a single track road but exceptionally quiet with little to no passing traffic, can be extremely windy so be prepared. Parking for 2 vans if parked considerately.
