It’s an unofficial parking on a stony area by the sea. We spent one night there, 3 other vans were parking there as well. It has a beautiful sea view. 1 min walking to a stony swimming area, 2 min to beach clubs, 10 min to the city center. Right at the parking there is an old man with his camper selling tea, coffee and other things. Cute place for a calm, free stay for one night. Negative aspect: in the evening you can hear the hotel music from above, some cars going up a hill. And leaving through the city you have to go up a steep slippery street. Our van struggled to get back up there.

No stray dogs around, quite dirty but does the job - slept very good. Definitely use the coastal road to get here and not Google Maps - will save you a headache :)

Warning! Extremely steep slopes to get here and same to get out. There’s a stop on the main road to avoid diving into this 45 degree road situation.

konaklama yapmak ve geceyi geçirmek için sakin bir alan.. on tarafta küçük bir satıcı.aksamlari az bir müşteri vardı.. saat 22 den sonra kimselerin gelmediği için sessiz di.. şehir merkezi 1 km.. gelmeden şehri gezip öyle geldik.. alanın giriş noktasında denize inen merdivenler var.. çok temiz ve berrak ama derin..

Please do not access this car park using the Google Maps route. Instead, use the road along the coast. The hill that Google Maps directs you to is very steep and dangerous for any type of van. There is plenty of space in the car park, and you can find a quiet corner for some privacy. While there are a few stray dogs around, they are very friendly.

Ci siamo fermati solo per pranzo e passeggiata. Posto incredibilmente bello ma.. con un asfalto così liscio e una salita così ripida abbiamo fatto una fatica pazzesca a risalire con camper 7,5 m a pieno carico . Senza i nostri 170 cavalli saremmo rimasti lì ..

Spiazzo sterrato in una vecchia cava di pietra, assieme ad un paio di carrelli barche. Per arrivarci bisogna scendere alla marina, e proseguire sulla strada lungo costa.

Standen hier eine Nacht alleine, ruhig. Unbedingt frühs die Treppen runter und im wunderschönen, klaren Wasser schwimmen. Anfahrt kann je nach Tageszeit eng werden. Das Örtchen selbst ist super süß und man läuft nur 10 min in die Altstadt.

la strada per arrivare percorre un importante discesa e non è molto grande. Siamo arrivati un venerdì sera e siamo rimasti bloccati dal traffico delle macchine in tutte le direzioni.(camper 7,5m) . Alla fine risolta la situazione abbiamo trascorso una notte con il rumore delle auto e motorino fino alle mattinate .Siamo scappati la mattina presto per evitare traffico e confusione

Silent during the night. Make sure you go for a swim in the morning the water is incredibly beautiful

Zusammen mit zeltenden Bikern dort gestanden für eine Nacht. Am hinteren Schotterplatz! Vorsicht vor Glasmüll! Zufahrt am Abend über die Uferstraße eng und nur für Vans zu empfehlen, außer im Winter wenn ganz wenig los ist. Nacht ruhig.

Beautiful spot. Great park up. Definitely visit Sandal bar down the road. Really lovely atmosphere and friendly, welcoming people.

In January, an empty parking lot with a magnificent view. A good choice for overnight stays and long rest.

Beautiful parking spot. Great little swim spot down the steps. Friendly food van guy and good food. Very friendly town. Sadly they were bulldozing rock out of the side of the hill nearby so it was noisy, that’s the luck of the draw. We parked on the street just before the food van for 2 nights. The Jandarma regularly pass they didn’t bother us, just had coffee at the food van.

Kindlasti üks lemmik kohtasi. Vaikne õhtul käivad mõned noored romantikat tegemas aga magamist ei sega. Imeline väike rannake trepist alla minnes. Võileivad olid väga maitsvad kindlasti tasub proovida. Veetsime seal kolm ööd ja lastele väga meeldis. Jalutuskäigu kaugusel nii poed kui ka restoranid. Väga ilus väike linn

Nice level location with a friendly cafe on site. Little tricky though the town with a 7m but easy access to the site with plenty of space. No services. Few friendly dogs bark at night but still would recommend.

Ekliger Gestank an diesem Platz. Wir mussten die Fenster abends schließen. Ansonsten sehr zentral gelegen für das sehr sehr touristische Örtchen.

Lugar cerca de la zona de restaurantes de kalkan y con un sitio para bañarte el el mar entre las rocas espectacular. Por la noche llegó un coche con musica alta que nos despertó pero se fue al instante. Tb algunos perros. Nada exagerado, volvería a dormir allí.

Stayed here two nights. Perfect location for exploring Kalkan - easy walk into Kalkan. Some noise at night from cars meeting/turning nearby. Friendly strays. Great drinks in cafe. Perfect spot to swim just opposite made this park up an absolute winner!

Must've been unluckily as it was extremely noisy. Loud music from parked cars till 3.00am and dogs barking till daybreak. From our experience, I can't recommend it although close to the town.

The QUIETEST place we have stayed in Turkey! No barking, no people, no music, just birds chirping. Maybe we got lucky, but I hope you do too! Good location, close walk to shops, flat, no amenities. But… if you walk to Indigo beach bar & restaurant, they have a sign up saying 50 Lira for showers - they also have great food and FANTASTIC views over the ocean.

Peaceful park up for 2 nights at the start of March (normal dog barking and the usual calls to prayer you get anywhere in Turkey) with friendly food truck owner. Meat ball sandwich 90tl. Steps down to the cove for a perfect swimming spot.

I have rated this against what I expected to find there. Nice little park up and room for a few vans. Easy walk into the town.

Perfectly fine for one night, some barking from local dogs. 10 minute walk to centre. Very steep hill to get to. No services. The alternative park up was being bulldozed, so no longer available.

We stayed here for 1 night. An old quarry is haunted and a Chinese place. We heard strange noises at night. The dogs protected us. If you are a good person, you can see the Smurfs.

Schöner Ort. Der Mann mit dem Getränkewagen und den Tischen hat sein Café sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Wir sind nachts leider durch laute Musik und feiernde junge Männer wach geworden und dann weitergefahren. Die Anfahrt durch die Stadt ist tatsächlich recht Steil, wir fanden es machbar mit unserem kurzen aber hohen Wohnmobil.

Muy ruidoso si duermes con techo elevable. También decir que era noche del sábado y venían muchos coches con música muy alta. El último coche a las 5 de la mañana. Hay un par de perros muy amigables tanto con personas como con los demás perros.

Nous ne sommes pas resté là nuit mais ça avait l'air d'être parfait ! Par contre !! Attention aux gros et lourds véhicules (Camping car de 7m3 pour nous), très gros dénivelé pour descendre de la ville jusqu'au niveau de la mer. Nous sommes restés bloqués dans la remontée. Les locaux ont l'air habitué, quelq'un nous a dit de redescendre tout en bas et d'y aller franchement sans s'arrêter .. c'est passé.

Great spot for kalkan, stayed one night and slept well

Loved Kalkan so much spent 4 very peaceful nights here. There are a couple of super friendly dogs and the owner of the little cafe van offered to top up our water.

Beautiful spot for the night and to visit the town. There is a small beach down the road, but watch out with the stairs ist steep and old.

Óptimo para passar uma noite. Parque grande e direito. Passámos uma noite sozinhos, tranquilo. Sem serviços.

Für eine Nacht toll. Sehr ruhiger Platz mit super schöner Aussicht. Im Sommer toll mit kleiner Badegrotte die allerdings gefunden werden will. Zufahrt stellenweise sehr steil aber machbar. Eine Stern Anzug da viel Müll (schade)

Had a great night here, quiet and near the town. Lovely fella in the food van. Bigger vehicles, just take care on the slope.

good place to park, flat and quiet at night, there is a steep hill coming off the main road to the village, easy to get down, but very steep to get back up, when its been raining, wheels spin on the road, i had to wait till it dried out a bit.
