The car park has had bollards place at the entrance and is the width of a car only. small vans will gain access but motorhomes will not.

Superbes sentiers de randonnée et superbes vues. Si nous le maintenons propre, il restera un endroit agréable et gratuit.
Au sommet d'une colline. Le réseau mobile est bon.
Okeford Hill car park, also called Picnic place
great walking tracks, and great views. If we keep it clean it will stay a nice free spot.
On top of a hill. Mobile signal is o.k.
Okeford Hill Parkplatz, auch Picknickplatz genannt. Tolle Wanderwege und eine tolle Aussicht. Wenn wir ihn sauber halten, bleibt er ein schöner, freier Platz.
Auf einem Hügel gelegen. Handyempfang ist in Ordnung.

Tiene excelentes senderos para caminar y vistas espectaculares. Si lo mantenemos limpio, seguirá siendo un buen lugar gratuito.

Bluey32103/05/2025Quiet car park in a rural area. Great spot for dog walks. We stayed for 1 night and wasn’t disturbed. Take home your rubbish & be mindful of the narrow entrance. We have a VW transporter and fitted through just nice.
park4nightsandg02/01/2025Lovely little car park, quite rural. Can get a Vivaro / transit through the bollards. Quiet through the night ( except wildlife). Light local Traffic from 7am and lots of dog walkers once it got light (8:30).Area busy with horse riders, cyclist and runners. Beautiful walks all around. Picnic table.
alexander116/12/2023I found the enterence bollards too narrow for a Citroen Relay van so, 50m up the road is a layby/wide field entrance (wide enough for a few cars and vans together. Good views there and reasonably quite road. Watch out for cycle club patrons in early morning. They come thick and fast.
MikeStealth18/04/2023Off the beaten track, populated by local dog walkers. Very quiet but watch out for the narrow entrance 2m. Actually stopped the night outside the entrance to the bike track (closed), fab views. A nice walk over the stiles. Quiet night although was visited by a couple of vehicles early am, but no problems.

width restrictions! 2 meters maximum but no height barriers. no facilities. small, silent carpark under trees. I've stayed here several times when bulbarrow is busy or it's blustery. local dog walkers in the morning but all friendly.

Deze locatie is niet geschikt voor campers breder dan 2 m. 50 meter verderop is er wel een mogelijkheid om te parkeren aan de ingang van Okeford Hill bike park. We hebben daar zonder problemen overnacht.
