Quiet road leading to Colwick Hall. No restrictions. Stayed without any bother. Shady under the trees but far end is clear if you need light/solar. Cars up and down in the day time but pretty dead at night. Stones throw from River Trent.

Flat and lit. You drive through the industrial part of the city to get here, but this spot seems to be surrounded by a beautiful lake, river and racecourse. The road doesn’t really lead anywhere other than to a posh hotel. It’s well lit and was really lovely by day. I’m often travelling alone as a solo female and would definitely stay there again. No facilities. Just a pleasant road.
War am Wochenende hier. Viele der Einwohner kommen zum Grillen und feiern hierher. Auf Vögel in den Bäumen achten und Dachfenster schließen! Ab Mitternacht ist es ruhig.
Great spot near the river… you can get parked up for a great view. It’s free and has shaded and non shaded areas but lots of dodgy activity along the road and water front - drgs and working girls… dodgy area… be careful
Great, rather secluded road for free parking. The other vans and cars made it feel safe. Located next to a park, so people arrive between 7-8am to walk their dog and park their cars around. Make sure to visit the Ruins of St. John's Church while you're at it!
quiet place, with a huge park nearby where is nice to take a walk. Two trash cans also near the parking space at the end, few cars passing but overall pretty quiet, many vans around, felt very safe
stayed last night. great spot and plenty of room allong the road side. mostly shaded but there are a few spots without shade if you need solar charge. we were in a 7.5m motorhome.

Really like this spot, lots of space, right by the nature reserve and always at least a few campers there. Police are chill with us here. Yes, occasionally noisy, due to the river cruises finishing on the river by the spot, but the bouncers there make sure people get into taxis/cars and move along as quickly as possible at 10pm. Then hope there's not a wedding by the hotel at the other end.

very busy street, we unfortunately stayed in a Friday night, there were parties on at either end of the road, do loud drum and bass one end and loud wedding music the other, combined with taxis back and forth all night and drunks passing all night and morning. couldn't wait to leave.
Plenty of space but busy street. Wouldn’t recommend for families with small children as the cars went quite fast. No services.
This is a good park up but it's far from quiet. Cars come down the road fast so the van shakes. Also get boy racers at night and sometimes some very loud people in the early hours. That said it's near colwick Park which is great altho a lot of rubbish at the moment. Shady for when hot.
My favourite park up when I'm in Nottingham. It is beautiful, safe and quiet. No toilets but there are bins. parties every now and then but if you join in it's no issue.
Perfect spot, nice long flat road so plenty of options. Beautiful view of the lake in the morning!! Solo female and I felt safe, all I heard were passing cars and the wildlife. Nice opportunity for kids/dogs to stretch their legs on the grass in the morning. Really easy access too.
