Beautiful view but exposed to the elements. Cattle grid noise not inconvenient for a good night’s sleep. Excellent stopover.
Super escale d'une nuit ! Quelques petites aires de repos dans lesquelles s'arrêter et quelques zones plus grandes. La route est calme, quelques voitures passent jusque tard et encore tôt le matin, mais à part ça, c'est génial! Super endroit pour commencer de belles grandes promenades!
Great overnight stop! A few small lay-bys to pull into plus some bigger areas. The road has quiet a few cars passing until late and again early morning but other than that’s is great! Great spot to start some lovely big walks from!
Tolle Übernachtungsmöglichkeit! Ein paar kleine Rastplätze zum Anfahren plus einige größere Bereiche. Die Straße hat ruhig ein paar Autos, die bis spät und wieder früh am Morgen vorbeifahren, aber ansonsten ist es großartig! Toller Ort, um einige schöne große Spaziergänge zu beginnen!

Really nice stop. Not easy to find a completely level spot with my 9.5m overlander, but good enough for a 3 night stop to take the dog on some great walks. Good signal on 3 and O2. Not too much traffic and cattle grid one of the quietest I've heard.

Stayed in the big pull in, great view! A bit of traffic into the evening but quiet over night. Good phone signal

stayed at the spot between the two park ups. second time staying both have been quite with only a few cars/bikes drive by in the morning but slowly as the spot on a corner and you cant hear the cattle grate. Person before us left food scraps all over the floor..food is still litter, don't be gross!

Great, quiet spot. Plenty of walks to do around it. It's right next to a cattle grid but after the 5/6th car you become used to it so didn't really bother us too much. Good phone signal on EE. It's not the most level spot but the views and peacefulness make up for it. Incredible location to watch the sunrise. I felt safe here which is important.

Parked up here over night during the week and returned the following week it was quiet and peaceful apart from the odd car passing. Right at the start of a trail head, walk one way see the sunset, walk back and see the moon rise, theb a beautiful sunrise from bed in the morning. I felt safe and would definitely stay again! Just note there is no weather cover here! It's all out in the open!

Parked up here on the 26th August, 2024, ideal stopover when touring the Dales, On a hillside with hairpin bends So No speeding traffic passes by, Great views in all directions

Middle of nowhere. Several areas to park n, but don’t park by the cattle grid if you’re a light sleeper!!!! It’s noisy!!!

Nice views. Very quiet after 11pm. Two other overnight campers nearby. Gravel/stone parking spots and can found a flattish area. Moorlands on your doorstep. No signs to say you can’t park here and the local estate management vehicles passed a couple of times without stopping.
