(OX1 4XG) Oxford - 430 Abingdon Road

Very frustrating parking area of one of the most well-known towns in UK. Teasing to allow even overnight parking but denieing "cooking and sleeping" also at daytime! It's allowed have takeaway meals and watch Netflix at night time? Ridiculous... Not for me.

8£30 pour 24h. Parking grand et plat. 15min du centre d'oxford par bus ligne numero 300. Attention: entrée du parking bus+ camping cars mal indiquée suivant d'où l'on vient; l'entrée se fait sur OLD Abingdon road (entrée commune avec parking de l'hôtel).

De informatie is niet correct. Op het bord is duidelijk te lezen dat het verboden is om in campers te koken én te slapen in de camper. Overigens wel vreemd dat een camper er wel 24u mag staan. We hebben het niet aangedurfd.

Just for clarity: the £8:10 charge is for parking only. You will have to pay a further £5:50 for a bus ticket for 2 adults (return). If you’re only intending to spend a couple of hours it’s not the most cost effective way to visit Oxford!

Sleeping and cooking in the van is prohibited, but the signs do not say what the penalties for are, so I guess it's a sop to the adjacent Travelodge. It's very noisy, and the toilets are filthy. But I'd be back. £8.10 for 24 hours, regular buses to Oxford, or hire a bike.... If Oxford Council reads this, why not add Elsen point, grey water disposal, and sweet water? You'd make a killing...

Parking pratique pour visiter Oxford. La partie pour les camping-cars se trouve à côté des bus, vous pouvez y entrer par le côté de l'hôtel adjacent. Nous n'avons pas réussi à payer sur l'application du parking mais nous avons trouvé une borne à l'entrée. Le bus 300 vous amène dans le centre ville en peu de temps. Nous avons passé la nuit ici (8£ pour 24h).

Der long stay Parkplatz ist einen einzige Baustelle. Teile des Bodens sind aufgerissen. Nicht sehr attraktiv. 8,50 £ für 24 Std. Busticket 4£ für Hin- und Rückfahrt/ Person in die Stadt. Bin weitergefahren und habe auf einen Besuch von Oxford verzichtet.

You need to enter the parking for lorries as coaches which is separate to the car park. The entrance is on the left across the Travelodge hotel. Great parking place for motor homes and campers. Very big. A lot if space. £8.10 for 24 hours. Overnight stay is permitted.

Übernachtung auf dem hinteren Bus-/LKW Parkplatz möglich. Hatten eine ruhige Nacht. Am besten über RingGo App zahlen. Achtung: beim Übernachtingstarif ist die Busfahrt nach Oxford nicht inkludiert. Die gilt nur beim PKW Parkplatz. Busticket kann bequem über die Oxford Bus App gekauft werden (5 Pfund hin und zurück für 2 Erwachsene und Max. 3 Kinder). Bus alle 15 Minuten

너무 좋아요! 여기에 2박 주차하고 옥스포드 관광했네요^^ 최고의 장소 입니다. I love it! Parking here for 2 nights and sightseeing in Oxford ^^ It's the best place.

No se permite pernoctar, pero no existen demasiadas alternativas en la ciudad. El bus por 5'50 ida y vuelta los 3.

The ban on cooking and sleeping in vehicles applies to all vehicles in the lorry park area, campers, coaches, vans and lorries. I asked the council for clarification and they confirmed this by email. You can park here and eat and sleep elsewhere, but not use your van facilities. With the adjacent ccc site closed too, there is now no camper parking anywhere within walking distance of the city.

To be clear, this is the separate coach / lorry park around the back. It's a bit of a mess with broken tarmac and junk lying around but quiet enough for an overnight and toilets available during the day. Had trouble with the RingGo app not allowing my "type" of vehicle so ended up with a fine. Make sure you buy via the app if poss or apparently there is a machine somewhere or they will fine you.

Um eine Sache klarzustellen: auf dem Schild steht eindeutig, das nur auf dem Car-Platz-Gelände kochen und schlafen verboten ist. Auf dem Long-Stay-Gelände ist es natürlich erlaubt, sonst würden die 24h - Tickets ja keinen Sinn ergeben. Wir verbringen hier die Nacht, nach einem langen Tag in Oxford.

Der Eingang für Womos über 2.00 Meter ist auf der nördlichen Seite (Busse). Dieser Teil des Stellplatzes hatte bei Weitem genügend Kapazität. Der Kassenautomat nimmt Visa-Karten. Ansonsten gibt's nichts außer ebener Asphaltplatz.

parking Très pratique. attention au tarif motorhome et pas prendre celui de voiture. j'ai payé 8£ pour 24h pour 1 cc de 7.5m. A 10 mn en bus du centre, ligne 300. Nuit et cuisine interdits. Hyper centre d'Oxford en restriction de circulation ZEZ. Seulment vélo et vehicule électrique

Très bien pour visiter la ville avec l’accès au bus. Faire attention à payer £2 uniquement car tarif camping car 24h non avantageux on ne peut pas y passer la nuit ni cuisiner !

kochen und übernachten sind hier untersagt. der Parkplatz ist tagsüber ziemlich voll mit Bussen. zudem kann man nur 24h parken buchen, was eigentlich in Kombination mit dem Übernachtungsverbot keinen Sinn macht. Der Shuttle in die Stadt kostet 5£ (2 Personen) Hunde sind kein Problem. insgesamt gut um die Stadt zu besichtigen.

Car park mainly used for coached during the day. Although signage states that you should not sleep in MotorHome. Very quiet and felt safe. WC in adjacent bus depot.

La parte para vehículos grandes está en muy mal estado, no hay una plaza a nivel. Se ve descuidado. Cuando entramos solo habían dos camiones y entre el suelo y el ruido... nos fuimos sin más...

Convenient car Park to visit Oxford but quite expensive if you have a motorhome. There's no hour charge, only day charge and it costs 8£/day. You need to enter next to the Go Outdoor store, where there's no height restriction. You can take the bus n° 300 to go to Oxford. For a couple return is now 5£. I highly recommend Oxford.

Il est vrai que le parking ne fait pas rêver mais il est très pratique pour visiter Oxford. Tarif 2 £ spécial camping-cars, dérisoire par rapport à d'autres sites visités en Angleterre et Pays de Galles. Bon plan. Tarif Bus 4.80 £ aller/retour pour une famille de 4 personnes.

£2 for 24hrs - this overnighter is a bit rough but quiet enough and a damn site cheaper than the £38 they're charging next door at the C&CC (exc elec)! The buses are frequent and cheap and run into the evening. No facilities but does the job for the city visit. Big brother says you must purchase your ticket before 10 mins.

Oxford is a must visit city and this is a good way to do it with a motorhome. there is a big camping shop opposite the entrance to the P&R.

Un super plan, pour la proximité avec Oxford et le prix dérisoire. Un peu bruyant néanmoins à cause de la voie ferrée proche et de la circulation.
