Sind mit unserem Wohnmobil hoch. 6 m mit Alkoven. Der Weg dorthin ist echt schlimm. Wer aber genug Adrenalin und Zeit mitbringt und dazu noch ein vorsichtiger und umsichtiger Fahrer ist, schafft auch das. Mit einem PKW ist das ganze kein Thema. Es waren unzählige Autos oben. Großen bzw. schweren Wohnmobilen ist die Strecke allerdings eher abzuraten. Wir haben es durchgezogen.

Amazing place to spend the night on the mountain! We were all alone, with wonderful views. The road is long, horrible, almost endless (1 hour) but your efforts will be rewarded once you're up there! And yes, you can do it without 4x4, just go slow and avoid the rocks... The hike to Trnovačko Lake is also worth it!

Schwierige Anfahrt, aber der Platz ist es wert.

Super Platz zum übernachten! Einer unser schönsten Spots. Dafür aber einiges los, v.a. am WE. Der Parkplatz ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung zum Gipfel oder See. Wer zum Gipfel wandert sollte sich vorher gut über den Weg informieren. Oben kein Netz. Der direkte Weg zum Gipfel ist sehr steil und man muss teilweise klettern, aber lohnt sich sehr. Die Anfahrt dauert >1h, 4x4 von Vorteil

Atemberaubende Aussicht, wenn man oben angekommen ist. Wir haben eine Nacht dort gecamped, der Sonnenuntergang war der hammer. Der Weg dorthin ist allerdings wirklich steinig, man sollte viel Zeit dafür einplanen. Vor allem beim letzten Stück hatten wir hier und da wirklich Angst um unsere Reifen. Wir haben einen L2H2 Transporter ohne Allrad und besondere Reifen. Hat geklappt und sich gelohnt!

Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Maglić. Straße ist okay, dauert halt nur ein wenig um oben anzukommen.

We were not able to reach the spot today. The last 500 meters had snow and were not possible without a 4x4. We will come back in summer :).

Worth the gravel road up, doable in any car slowly maybe not very large motorhomes. Amazing spot with glorious views and stars. We hiked to the lake and up a summit but not Maglic, it gets dark early so plan accordingly, we hiked some part in the dark. it's cold now was minus 4 at night. Not much mobile signal there.

Jeder Meter nach oben lohnt sich!! Einmalige Aussicht, vor allem im Oktober, wenn sich die Wälder färben. Wanderung zum See in Montenegro auch empfehlenswert.

Einfach traumhaft, aber etwa 15km holprige Anfahrt, teils echt ziemlich schlechter Weg..aber lohnt sich, wenn man auch zum Maglic hoch möchte.

Bellissimo spot proprio alla partenza del sentiero per il Monte Maglić. 12km di sterrato in buono stato, ma che mette un po’ di tensione se fatto con un camper. Per questa strada calcolare un’ora di tempo.

most beautiful sunset. went up and down Maglic via the steep way. would recommend doing the loop to the lake though. We had little time with putting kids down for naps and thunderstorms. got a bit busy when we were there. Road was fine for our 7m motorhome though I am glad we didn't meet too many of those on the way.

Amazing views for sunset and sunrise, busy small car park. Nice short stroll out to fire tower for more views. Cars arrived early to start Maglic hike. Road up isn't as bad as we expected and took us 40 mins.

Excellent place, beautiful sunsets and nature. Starting point for hike to Maglic/Trnovacko lake where you can swim after Maglic. We did the circle route to Maglic-lake- car park in 7hours-13km but its quite steep up and down. The road is good if you know how to handle your van and it takes about 40minutes, those people in comments saying is bad road clearly have never been on really bad road 10/10

Anfahrt für jeden möglich. Traumhafter Stellplatz mit atemberaubendem Sonnenuntergang. Guter Start für Maglic Besteigung.

The road to this place is a gravel road, it takes 45 min from the mail road if you drive 15-20 km/h. easy accessible with 3.3m high van. Epic view, 10 KM/ person entrance to the park, 10Eur camping

War für uns Ausgangspunkt für die Bergtour auf den Malić. Allrad nicht notwendig. Straße ist halt schlecht. Was ihr eurem Fahrzeug zumutet, müsst ihr selbst wissen (von normalem PKW über Kastenwagen, unser Steyr war auch klassische Alkoven-Weißware da). Abends zwar toller Sonnenuntergang, aber sehr voll und kein Platz mehr zu bekommen. Trübte die Stimmung dann doch …

We came here to hike up Maglic. The road is in quite bad condition in some spots. There are potholes and the asphalt broken or patchy. In the woods some cut down trees can make the road more narrow. Only accessible with enough clearance of the car, 4x4 for sure helps. Parking is then quite spacious and could also be a nice spot to stay overnight.

The car needs to be high enough as the access is quite tough and it's a long approach through the forest road. If you start the road after 19 PM, the entrance is free. Given that it's a remote spot, there is quite a lot of people up there in the end.

We wanted to go here, the road was tough and with a lot of rocks, but our old Mercedes 508D was able to do it. Don’t go if you don’t like off road driving or if you are afraid of scratches on your van. At about 3/4 on the route, a fallen tree blocked our way and we could not go further and had to turn around. Our van is relatively easy to turn, otherwise we would have had a tough time driving back backwards.

Der Stellplatz an sich ist super. Man hat eine umwerfende Aussicht, und nachts ist es absolut ruhig. Einzig die Anfahrt ist mühsam: Ich bin am Vorabend meiner Maglic-Besteigung hochgefahren. Mit einem normalen PWK sollte man mindestens 1,5 Stunden ab der Hauptstraße einplanen (ca. 17km). Es ist eine Piste mit sehr grobem Geröll, Felsen und vielen Schlaglöchern.

What a beautiful place!!! We had 2 good nights here! The sundowner is really beautiful! But the street is really rough. Stones are getting bigger close to the parkingspot. Really narrow the Last 2km. We came with a L2H2 Ducato. Was ok. But took us 1,5h driving really slowly! Wouldn‘t do it again. But was worth the drive. Check weather conditions before you take the long drive up!

absolutely incredible location! the road is pretty rough, definitely worth to have some clearance. only recommend if you know your vehicle well. we managed in a 6m Renault Master but wouldn't do it again in a hurry. average speed 10kph.

Perfekter Stellplatz am Fuße des Maglic. Wir haben für die Anfahrt 1,5h gebraucht von der Straße aus, durch unsere geringe Bodenfreiheit. Aber die Mühe ist es absolut wert. Traumhafte Aussicht über den Sutjeska Nationalpark, super Wanderung zum Maglic. Wir haben 3 Nächte dort verbracht.

Wir schon gesrieben, ein Traumort unter Maglic Wand, perfekt Ausgangspunkt fuer Mountaineering nach oben, oder fuer einfache Tour zu Trnovačko See. Parkplatz in der Nacht absolut ruhig und die Sterne oben... !!! Auf dem Zufahrtweg muss man aufpassen, aber auch mit normalem 2x2 machbar.

The road is slow going and gravel but possible in a FWD van. Actual car park isn't that big and gets busy on the weekends. Views are incredible. The route straight up to Maglic is difficult, it's a mountaineering route rather than a hiking route, a lot of scrambling/climbing is required and some of the cables are missing. Should really have a helmet for the route (we didn't).

extraordinary view. the road is pretty bad and takes an hour to drive up from the main road, but it's a quiet sleep and perfect start to hiking. data is intermittent and there's no shade, but absolutely perfect location.

The view is worth driving on a bad road, the ramp was raised after 6 pm, so we didn't pay for the entrance..

Beautiful views and great for Maglic hike. Road very bumpy but possible in 2WD camper van, takes about 1.5 hours from the main road. 10BAM per person for entry. We hiked to Maglic via the “postman route”, down the track and round the back between the 2 peaks, was steep - some scrambling but a cable at steepest bits. Descended to Trnovačko - route steep and very slippy. €1 and ID needed at lake.

De weg naar deze plek was volgens locals te doen. Wij hebben er met onze Citroën Jumper uit 1999 ruim 2 uur over gedaan. Het ging allemaal erg langzaam en veel tegenliggers op de weg. Wel een prachtig uitzicht, maar erg koud in de avond. Wij lagen hier met 8 graden al vroeg in onze bus.

Possible to get there even with a really old van (1986), but beware that at least with such a car it might take you 2h (not kidding) to go up (starting from main road). The view is breathtaking and it’s a really nice place to sleep and park your car. Drinking water is up there and the hike to Maglic is also great.

Schöne Aussicht und super Startpunkt für eine Wanderung auf den Maglic oder zum Bergsee! Nachts war es sehr windig. Anfahrt mit normalem Van möglich, aber man muss schon aufpassen, damit man nicht aufsetzt. Mit 4x4 problemlos.

Mooie plek met schitterend uitzicht. Weg naar boven is wat uitdagend maar te doen met onze Fiat Ducato (vonden wij). In de nacht stevige wind een flinke onweersbui, maar in de ochtend weer schitterend weer voor een mooie wandeling naar het meer. Wij verbleven 2 nachten en hebben buiten de entree op weg naar boven niets betaald voor het camperen op de parking.

Geweldig plaats. Omhoog 1h10 minuten. Terug 1h. De nacht begon met wat wind. Uiteindelijk een heel rustige nacht gehad. Magic beklommen om zonsopkomst te zien. In de zon ontbeten. De parkranger komt in de avond 4 BM /€2,- per volwassene vragen voor overnachten. Komt bovenop park entree van 10 BM / €5,- pp.

La piste pour y accéder est très caillouteuse, difficilement praticable pour une véhicule bas, mais la vue à l'arrivée en vaut la peine. Une quinzaine de véhicules sur le parking pour les gens qui dorment en haut (mi-juillet). Zoran, le ranger qui gère le site nous a accueilli et nous avons passer la soirée dans son refuge à partager rakija et épine à la lueur de la bougie. Je recommande à 100% !

The place itself and view are amazing. But to get there you need to drive 14km road in really bad condition. We punctured the tire on the way up. Also there is many people sleeping and its hard to find a good spot.

Spektakularni pogledi, mir, tišina... Nešto lošiji makadam ali sasvim prohodan. Česma u neposrednoj blizini.

When you love outdoor life and astonishing views in the morning, you will have to go there. Definitely, one of the picturesque places in Bosnia. 10 BAM per person for entrance to National Park is not too much. Road in bumpy, but accessible for campervans and cars without 4x4.

Just as beautiful as everyone says. Especially quiet in the low season. The road really isn't bad if you take it slow! Take care of this beautiful place and keep it clean.

Ein wunderschöner Ort. Es lohnt die lange Anfahrt für die Aussicht. Super Ausgangspunkt für den Maglić. Standen hier 3 Nächte tagsüber einige Wanderer.

I have rated this against what I expected to find there. What a fantastic view to wake up to. We managed the dirt track in our RWD Hymer MLT560 ok. If you hike to the lake, stunning hike, you’ll need ID and a €1 each to enter the National Park as the lake is in Montenegro

La route est effectivement longue ! 45 min pour faire 13km mais pour nous accessible. La vue au sommet est superbe ! La rando du lac aussi ! Pas de vent à notre venu, peu de monde. Il faisait froid car vous êtes à 1500 mètres d'altitude.

El lugar es muy bonito, pero para llegar ahí te esperan unos 16km con una larga hora.. por una carretera que no se encuentra en muy buen estado. A nosotros, como el comentario anterior, nos hizo muchísimo aire y no pudimos dormir bien y no disfrutamos del lugar ya que nos hizo mal tiempo.. Entrar al parque cuesta 10kn por persona.

We stayed here one night in September. The dirt road up took us about an hour. It was really windy when we were up there, we hardly got any sleep because the van was shaking so much. The scenery is lovely and I can imagine the views are amazing we just didn’t get to enjoy it much with the stormy weather we had

Wir haben mit VW T5 ne gute Stunde nach oben gebraucht. Nicht gerade easy, aber machbar und die Aussicht entschädigt! Hatten (Anf. September) keine Probleme mit Moskitos. Bis ca. 20h war noch recht viel los, weil immer wieder Wanderer zurückkamen und Autos losfahren, ab dann war's sehr ruhig. Sind zum Trnovacko See gewandert (ca. 3,5h für Hin- und Rückweg - 1€/Person und Ausweis mitnehmen!).

We were here in mid July, super nice scenery and cool air. Hike to the lake was amazing!

Werkelijk fenomenaal! De deels onverharde weg naar boven is slecht maar wel te doen. Ook zonder 4x4 echt wel te doen, ook voor alkoof campers. Gewoon rustig omhoog in de eerste of tweede versnelling. De rit is de moeite waard! We bleven probleemloos 2 nachten en wandelden de lange hike van plm. 14 km. Echt zwaar pittig maar man man man wat mooi!

Truly breathtaking spot, and perfect to start a hike to the Maglic. No mosquitos in mid July but awesome sunset. If you want to do the Maglic it's better to do the technical part first and then go down to the lake because going the other way is MUCH more difficult. The road took a bit less than 1hr but completely worth it

Einer der besten Plätze auf denen wir bisher gestanden sind. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Man kann zum Beispiel zum Bergsee Trnovacko nach Montenegro wandern. (ca. 10 km hin und zurück) Ausweis, 1 Euro Eintritt für den dortigen Nationalpark und Mückenspray nicht vergessen

Plus d'une heure pour arriver mais faisable en T4. Vue extraordinaire et vous êtes autorisés à dormir ici, il faut payer l'entrée du parc. Seul point négatif les insectes mais le lieu est tellement magique que vous allez ne plus penser, utilisez la moustiquaire. Profitez des randos et du spot.

Je wilt niet dat de muggen je afleiden van wat voor geweldig mooie spot dit is, maar in werkelijkheid gebeurt dat toch. Dat is jammer, maar als je bedenkt dat die muggen er zijn vanwege een van de laatste Europese regenwouden even verderop, kun je het wel goed accepteren. De plek zelf is echt magnifiek!

Absolutely beautiful spot. However, there’s sooooo many mosquitos this time of year. We only stayed one night because of it. The road is quite bad and really long (1h-1,5h), but doable with a small van. Would not recommend going now due to the insects!

Wonderful spot!! Ridiculously beautiful. The road there is quite long and not in the best condition, but worth the effort. It is possible to do it with a usual station wagon.

Impassable unless in a 4x4. Winter and recent rains have rendered the road full of deep gorges and impassable due to landslide debris. We were in a tiny Opel Combo, made it half way and could go no further. Sadly we paid €10 for the privilege. Bigger vans, I wouldn’t dare. You would have to reverse the whole way back. Avoid!

The gate into the National park was closed, there was no one there to open it. The road to the gate is in a bad condition and there was no way to turn around at the gate so we had to drive backwards part of the way. Definitely check with the tourist center first if it’s open, on the internet it said it was open but clearly wasn’t.

I'm almost scared to put a good review on this one. It's ridiculously beautiful. I wish there were more places like this. Please, take care of it. Be respectful, don't leave toilet paper around (it's actually the only kind of waste here). Enjoy. p.s. Yeah Maglic hike from he steep side is not for everyone: security wires are broken at crucial parts. Mb they are going to fix it.

Beautiful view in the heart of nature. Gravel road but not very difficult to go during the day. During the night or rainy day I would wait for another day.

Place is straight out of a dream, but the way there is more like a nightmare. The road is not really technically difficult and not very steep, but long (>1 hour) and in very bad condition (gravel road is an understatement for some sections). In the end, there are even VW Polos parked on the top so it is definitely doable, and totally worth it. We spent two beautiful days hiking here.

Very good spot for hiking. If you hike to the lake, bring your passport and 1€ or 4KM per Person. Please take your trash with you...

Amazing natural place with fresh water. The drive up took an hour with a van. First 5km from the main road is asphalt with some potholes. Than there is a entry gate with 10bam fee per person (can be avoided early morning/late evening). Last 12km is a gravel forest road.

The place is beatiful. If you care for dogs, you may want to visit a dog that lives under a rock for the summer, right before the house with green roof. He’s very friendly and happy to meet people. He’ll be happy to get treats and even go for a walk on a leash, the owner will let you. Just be careful, he’s strong and dragging. Have a good time there!

Wunderful place with an awesome view. But the road is not easy to take (we needed 1,5 hours for around 15km) but it was definitley worth it :)

This might just be one the most spectacular places to stay for a night. Fairly level surface, source of pure mountain water just under the spot, a few cars and campers in midweek July. Definitely worth the 1000 vertical meters drive on difficult path up.
