We had the luxury to be able to check out both sites before picking where we would park. As they are both ownered by same person you can use either facilities. We ended up staying on this site as the area above the football pitch gives a great view, plus you face direct west for sunset. The toilets and showers are first-class, nice cooking area if needed. Lady who runs it speaks very good English
Both campsites belong together. This is the one above the football pitch. It has a marvellous view of the sea & ElephantRock. But above all, it has an outstanding service building: spacious showers; a spotless, cosy kitchen with large windows; washing machine & dryer (both ISK 1000, dryer currently out of order). Fully open at the end of April. Costs 2100 ISK pp + 400 ISK tax and includes shower.
La propriétaire est charmante, camping calme, douche bien chaude, magnifique vue sur le golf et ses alentours.
Świetny kemping z super widokiem na ocean i na "słonią" skałę :) Sympatyczny właściciel. A do tego fajna kuchnia, darmowe prysznice w cenie z wodą nie pachnącą jajem :) Zdecydowanie polecam!
Sehr freundlicher Empfang, saubere Sanitärgebäude mit kostenloser Dusche. Die Campingcard wird nicht mehr akzeptiert.
The other location is prettier but this is fine as well. Payment done by someone knocking on our door around 20:30. Camping card accepted. Electrical outlets were already covered as it seems to close 15 September.
