Eine supertolle Aussicht. Es ist aber nicht ganz einfach, einen ebenen Platz zu finden, zumal wenn noch andere Autos dort parken. Ein Papierkorb, wie angegeben, haben wir auch nicht gefunden.

Super Platz, tolle Aussicht und sehr ruhig. Kurzer Spaziergang zum Dunmore Head, dem westlichsten Punkt von Irland. War sehr windig in der Nacht.

Emplacement superbe face a la mer ! Un peu de monde sur le parking jusqu’au coucher du soleil mais après il ne restait que quelques campervan. Terrain en pente mais accès direct à la mer !

What a spot! Fabulous views. Dunmore Head is the most westerly tip of Europe. Good walk to the top. No facilities so leave no trace. Picked up litter from pristine beach below. Best to arrive early evening after visitors have left otherwise parking is a bit chaotic. You might have to reverse out.

Juste le spot parfait en acceptant qu’il n’y a ni toilettes ni services . Se garer en bas du 1er parking pour être de niveau, être patient , attendre que les voitures touristes partent … et profiter !

Only suitable for campervans and small motorhomes under 7m. Otherwise, you are sticking out. Even in March, this was full of visitors, of course as it is a beautiful area, so don't arrive until early evening when visitors have left.

Absolutely wonderful place. Really enjoyed watching the surfers and waves. Nice walk over Dunmore Head. A little sloping but nothing terrible.

Stellplatz mit Panorama Aussicht ! die Plätze ganz unten sind flach, man muss nichts ausgleichen. Wanderung zum Dunmore Head direkt ab dem Parkplatz, leider sind auf der Wanderung keine Hunde erlaubt.

Parcheggio molto frequentato di giorno, consiglio di arrivare dopo le 18 per trovare spazio per il camper Passeggiata bellissima verso Dounmore Head Non abbiamo dormito ma non ho visto divieti, un po' in pendenza ed esposto al vento Consigliato

Wenn man einen Parkplatz ergattert hat, ist es ein phänomenaler Platz. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Tagsüber ist sehr viel los. Leider wird hier alles zugeparkt, wir wurden auch eingeparkt und Parkverbotsschilder werden gekonnt ignoriert. Nach dem Motto: "Hauptsache ICH". Ein größeres Fahrzeug wenden ist somit nicht machbar und im Falle eines Notfalles ist ein Durchkommen unmöglich.

Had a great night sleep , very peaceful , beautiful view, a beautiful beach, 5 vans parked no problem, no toilets, but well worth it

Séjour agréable, beaucoup de places en soirée, quelques autres campeurs la nuit où nous sommes restés. Beaucoup de vent, on a pas hésité à tourner le van pour l'avoir de dos car la place le permettait. Au pied d'un sentier pour monter au Dunmore Head sans trop de difficulté ! Les autres lieux notés à côté semblaient être plus réticents à l'accueil des camping car/van.

Great little spot for a stop over - no charges or no camper signage. No services

Packed on a Sunday. Planned to stay the night but bays too short to reverse in to without being a pain to others (7m van), some side ways spots at the top but not level at all. Beach was lovely to look at but very small for so many people. Not my bag.

Wir haben hier gestern übernachtet, direkt oberhalb der Klippen, es war wahnsinnig windig, aber wir haben gut geschlafen. Außer uns waren noch vier weitere Camper hier. Am frühen Abend kam noch viele Besucher mit PKWs und Server.

Gorgeous park up with incredible views. A bit exposed to the wind but the views made it worthwhile!

Maravilloso lugar. Muy tranquilo. Si llegas y hay muchos coches, espera. Luego se van. El único inconveniente es que tengas noche de tormenta con agua y viento, como nosotros la noche pasada. Con todo, repetiría. Despertar y ver a un lado el mar y al otro las ovejas, no tiene precio.

Great parking above the beach. Nice walk down even if the tide is in. Quiet when we were there early April with only 2 other vans there. Slea Head Drive interesting to get here but just be observant of the oncoming traffic. No facilities but non advertised so no issue. Off the main road so nicely sheltered from the passing traffic. Really quietened down at night.

Emplacement très calme en mars 2024, nous étions seuls. Super vue, plage agréable et site du film The Last Jedi à proximité.

Ci abbiamo dormito la notte tra il 9 e il 10 settembre 2023. Non ci sono servizi, ma per passarci una notte va benissimo. La vista è bellissima: sotto il parcheggio la Coumenoole Beach e a qualche centinaio di metri Dunmore Head, il capo più a ovest dell' Irlanda (raggiungibile a piedi con un sentiero). Panoramica e stretta la strada per arrivarci, ma percorribile con un po' di attenzione.

Standen mit einigen anderen Campern hier, total problemlos. Herrliche Aussicht auf das Meer und die Klippen. Entspannte Wanderung gleich daneben. Eine Bucht weiter fährt eine Fähre - dürfte ein Familienunternehmen sein- auf Blasket Island rüber! Platz bitte sauber halten, damit man hier auch weiterhin übernachten kann!

Très bon emplacement bien connu pour passer une bonne nuit. Pensez à venir pas trop tard surtout pour les camping car pour avoir assez de place. Car juste à côté Dunmore Head qui est très visité. D'ailleurs, on peut croire que c'est une boucle mais il faut traverser le muret en pierre. Sinon paysage splendide et des tables de pic-nique. Pas de service.

Glorious! No services. We managed to fit our 7m motorhome here with spectacular views. Climb to Dunmore Head for the sunset. Gets busy during peak season and there were at least 10 of us staying o/night. No signs to prohibit this.

Ein wunderschöner Platz mit Wahnsinns-Aussicht. Kein Geheimtipp, standen mit 7 anderen dort, aber dennoch toll! Kurzer Abstieg zum schönen Strand, bei Surfern beliebt. Kurze Wanderung zum Dunmore Head lohnt sich! Uns hat es sehr gefallen hier.

Nous n’avons pas dormi ici mais nous sommes arrivés vers 10h avec notre camping car de 7m20 pour aller voir le Dunmore Head . Vers 12h le parking était rempli . Donc si vous voulez de la place ne venez pas trop tard .

wunderschöner Pkatz - die stellplätze haben eine kleine neigung. man kann auch zum meer hinuntergehen bzw. von hier loswandern zum westlichsten punkt irlands.

Lieu splendide, spectaculaire par temps agité et très calme la nuit. Une impression de solitude. Avons aperçu deux phoques en train de pêcher. Attention, sentier de rando Dunmore Head juste à côté n'est aujourd'hui qu'une boucle de 200 m au dessus de la falaise. Malheusement, panneaux aux alentours laissent présager future interdiction de passer lanuit. No poubelle, donc préserver le site.

Sehr schöner Platz mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Ruhig und mit Zugang zum Stand. Platz für einige Wohnmobile / Vans. Kein Service…hinterlasst also bitte keinen Müll!

Absolutely stunning location but almost nothing in level ground for overnight parking, good for up to around 15 vehicles. The sand on the beach falls away sharply so water goes deep quickly.

Beautiful scenic view and a nice walk to a lookout. Wind can rip through here making it a bit breezy to sit outside etc. lots of tour buses and visitors by car come during the day but very quiet overnight.

Beautiful scenic view. There was just 3 campers when I was here in late September. it was quiet for the night except for two cars blowing their horns passing early on. Plenty of room here at night.

Exactly as the other reviewers described! Busy busy during the day - so park accordingly! - and quiet at night. Amazing views and walks up the hills or down to the beach; we spent an evening and midday here to get the most out of it. This slice of heaven is easily the highlight of our 2week trip.

Beautiful spot, favourite of our trip around Kerry! We stayed a bit further down towards the beach as it was a bit quieter (with just the sound of the sea to sleep to!) Great for bird/seal watching and nice walk along the cliff to the most western point in Europe. Busy into the evening but quiet in the morning and had the beach to ourselves

We had a great stay here. There were quite a few other campers parked up and down the road. We were at the ‘first’ parking spot, but would maybe recommend parking for the night a little bit down to the beach. Walkers came until late at night and the first people started arriving at 8:30 - hence our suggesting to park a bit more down. Had a great hike to the western point and stunning views.

Amazing spot. We spent the whole day here walking to the end of the headland and down on the beach, car park is busy during the day but just us and another camper at night. Wind did pick up a little during the night and don’t think it would be great place to stay during bad weather but we loved it.

Für Fahrzeuge bis 6,50 Meter optimal. Etwas abfallend. Herrlicher Ausblick. Traumhafte Wanderung zum Dunmore Head. Tagsüber sehr voll, hektisch und laut. Nachts ruhig.

Good spot for overnight camping with great views. Follow Slea head road and the car park is large enough for 20/30 spaces. Walk up to Dunmore head, for great views. Picnic tables available, no toilets. Very busy with tourists in daytime- buses stop here!

Looks like this would have been a lovely spot. Unfortunately, we went anticlockwise on the R559. After 15km we came upon a sign stating that motorhomes were to go no further along Slea Head Drive, so we parked up for the night along the road near Dunquin Pier. Today, whilst in Dingle, we saw a sign - they were trialling a one way system for April in that area so to travel clockwise - be aware.

Mega Spot!! Aussicht ist toll vom Dunmore Head (westlichster Punkt Europas). Etwas schief aber nicht so schlimm. Wir waren ganz alleine dort!

Un petit indret fantàstic per deixar el vehicle i fer passejades boniques durant el dia, sobretot a Dunmore Head. Allà hem començat la nit però el vent ha bufat tan fort que la nostra nit s'ha acabat a Ballyferreter a uns quilòmetres.

On the edge of the sea and very quiet despite nearby road. Arrived late and only one other van. A must do short walk to Dunmore head takes you to Ireland's westernmost point. A real highlight. A little beach below the parking for the brave swimmers

Sehr ruhiger Parkplatz direkt am Slea Head Drive gelegen, ab Sonnenuntergang auch keine Menschen mehr da. Wunderschöne Aussicht und sehr gerade Stellplätze

This beach is a MUST for my friends and me, if one of us visits Ireland. It is very very lovely and was quiet at night with waves to hear. Arround 5 other Camper where there, so we feeled very safe.

Wow! What a location, oh the view… probably our favourite stop on our 2 week road trip! Really busy during the day (it was a hot August day!), but quiet in the evening. Flat level parking at the top car park. Highly recommended!

Geen grote parking, niet geschikt voor > 6m, tenzij je komt als alle personenwagens weg zijn en je over meerdere plekken parkeert, na 2000 uur. even naar boven klimmen voor meest westelijke punt aan Europa, geweldig uitzicht.
