Stayed 2 nights early Sept. Ok for our 7m Moho. Park carefully as much used by locals and Glenan Community Wood volunteers, all were very friendly and happy for us to overnight. Great local walks. Please leave a donation in the 'post' provided. CalMac Ferry Terminal very close by with 24/7 very clean toilets, hot / cold water. Litter bins nearby. Thanks to Glenan Community Wood for this park up.
A nice spot but one that many camper groups know about as there are picnic benches & flat ground & there were 4 tents pitched. At 9 pm 2 vans & 2 cars arrived & made a lot of noise, shouting, playing loud music, doors slamming shut. We considered leaving. Thankfully they joined the tents at 11. Flat car park, 1 other van & 2 cars with men sleeping inside. A very busy spot.CalMac toilet open nearby
Guter Platz, geschützt und ruhig, schöne Aussicht. Wir hatten hier nur eine Pause, würden aber auch hier übernachten.
Quiet spot. Walks for the dog and close to the marina resturant. beautiful views over the loch.
Beautiful place for an overnight stay . Beautiful old woodland for walking. Kids love it as much as our four legged furries ! Respect the land and the local community and always leave a donation. Warning tho the midges are unrelenting, take head nets and plenty of midge spray…. You’re gonna need the lot !
As a local I have been sad to see this car park has been overrun by campers this season. multiple vans parking side long across the entire car park instead of using it like bay parking and leaving room for walkers. This is a community wood owned by the village. I feel visitors are welcomed but please leave space for others, take your rubbish and leave a donation in the box near the entrance.
beautiful quiet spot. hundreds of midges! ferry terminal with toilets although might be shut overnight. walk through the community owned woods for a sense of the local natural history.
quiet place near ferry. nice trails for walking. wireless connection 4G with Vodafone uk oke. at day busy with parking cars for walking jn the nearby forest, at night quiet
Sehr idyllischer Platz und sehr ruhig.
Wonderful spot for a overnight stay in Glenan Wood just on the left as you get off the Ferry. Great walks in the woods also. No facilities except the fabulous view. Very quiet and peaceful. Midges live here though - be aware.
