Quiet, space for 2-3 on the flat at the top. Quite easy to miss in the dark. Has a bin & decent signal. Gets busy with runners/cyclists when the sun comes up:)
A 1m du chemin de halage, petit parking calme au bord du canal. C'est sur une pente mais une zone plate au sommet assez grande pour 1 grand M / H et 2 fourgons.
1mtr from the towpath, quiet little parking area beside canal. It's on a slope but flat area at the top big enough for 1 large M/H and 2 Van's.
1 m vom Treidelpfad entfernt, ruhiger kleiner Parkplatz neben dem Kanal. Es liegt am Hang, ist aber oben flach genug für 1 großes M / H und 2 Vans.

Nice place to stay for the night. Most of the area is sloped but we were able to secure a spot (arriving around 10pm) at the top where it’s fairly flat. Few people walking by with dogs etc but no one bothered us.
stewy5829/05/2025Beautiful little park up next to canal, small car park (not to easy to get to if you have a huge motor but observe bridge weight limits and is possible) car park is on a bit of a slop but Flat section at the top with parking space for 3 large vans easily. Very quiet spot.
SpanishNomads27/05/2025Not the easiest place to get to. If you have a large motorhome you will probably hit all the overhanging branches. One access road says 2t weight limit. Extremely steep sloping apart from very small area at the top. One other motorhome there when we arrived but they were very kind and moved over so that we could be nearly on the level. Houses all around and not the friendliest of people.

Stayed here last night, really nice little spot. Was on a bit of a slope but we didn’t mind at all. Nice walk in the morning
lin022/08/2024Ich habe dort eine Nacht verbracht, Anfahrt ein wenig schwierig aber gut möglich. Morgens und Abends sind öfters Leute spazieren, dass hat mich aber nicht gestört. Die Lage ist sehr schön und sehr ruhig.

Definitely not “surrounded by nature”. It’s in a suburb by a main road with a footpath going alongside it. Fortunately it’s a quiet one (approx. one car every 2-3 minutes overnight), and the morning canal walk is a nice bonus. The slope isn’t too bad at the top but not really flat at any point.

maybe arrive when it's light to get yourself parked without disturbing the locals. not at all level.

Baidouz26/05/2022Ne mérite vraiment pas ses étoiles. Accès difficile, les branches pendent sur la route et frottent sur le cc, en bordure d'un quartier résidentiel, emplacement très petit et en pente, décharge d'amiante à quelques dizaines de mètres (!). Bon, il y a le canal...A éviter

Second time we've broken our journey overnight here. Beautiful, quiet spot right next to the towpath with narrow boats passing by. First visit met lots of dog-walkers who were lovely & chatty. However tonight we've had our photo taken twice by a resident looking none too happy. Our motorhome is clean & tidy. We have no litter or equipment outside & our dog is quiet, inside & always under control.

Very nice! Was quite busy with walkers, but everyone was friendly. We were glad to be the only ones staying there, because otherwise it could get hard to level the vans.

So peaceful, ducklings and dog walkers. Useful bin. If you accessed this park up from Moston, you wouldn’t need to make the incredibly tight u-turn (photo added) into the park up.

It would be quite tricky to access this carpark of you are even medium let alone large. It's quite small, very steep with a sharp turning into it. Having said that the canal is literally on your doorstep and it's beautiful. There's a regular walking club that meets here and fills the carpark completely from 19:30-21:30 so arrive before then or after!

Beware if icy you won’t be able to get up to canal side with Campervan / Motor Hime as it’s dangerously slippy
