Large rest area, just off the main road. Alright pull in for the night if travelling through the area. Frequented by motor homes, campervans and LGV/ HGVs. Plenty of space.

Parked up for half hour at 4pm during which time we saw about 8 single men turn up in cars, give one another the nod, then disappear behind a tree for a couple of mins. One bald bloke kept sticking his head up out of a bush keeping watch. I was laughing so much a bit of wee came out but we decided not to stay the night so I can’t give it a proper rating.
I didn’t read the reviews so found out what was once a great lay by for trucks and campers is now swarming with doggers. Very creepy. We pulled up and was quickly surrounded by cars that had been parked at the other end moments before.
1,000,000% a dogging spot! I rocked up pretty late on and immediately picked up on the significant amount of around car activity. Luckily I didn’t have anyone with me so attracted minimal attention but I most definitely wouldn’t have stayed the night if the missus was with. Lots of leering eyes. All in decent spot for one night, off the main road but still a little road noise. Super dark. A few interesting noises through the night what with the dogging but all around good nights sleep. Nice little butty van in the morning for a bacon bap.
Plenty of space and a few hgvs around so feels secure. The road is quite busy / noisy and can be difficult to leave in the morning. A bit of a dogging spot by the looks of things, we had a few knocks on the door and someone tried the handle so make sure you’ve locked your doors!
