(PE9 2EX) Stamford - 2 Uffington Road

We arrived, lots of space and no parking restrictions/height restriction. However, a group of young guys arrived in their cars making a racket at midnight on a Thursday playing football, so we decided to leave and not stay. Shame really, because otherwise it would have been fine.

Morrisons is convenient for food and the conveniencies. The supermarket closes at 10pm on Saturdsy, with 10am opening on Sunday. There’s even an ok cafe for breakfast. This is a good place to stay for visiting Stamford, which is a beautiful old town.

Bottom of car park relatively flat, good 4G on EE, not Vodafone. Quiet space, some vans , 10 mins walk into town. Morrisons has toilets but only when store open. Would stay here again! Please keep clean so people can use it!

Quiet, good 4g and relatively flat. The only problem is - the place is too popular. Any more than 3 vans and the store will ban overnights. You must ARRIVE LATE AND LEAVE EARLY.

Parking de l’àrea comercial: gratuït, molt gran i poc concorregut passades les 22.00h. Bé per passar la nit quan vas de ruta. Àrea comercial amb WC obert de 6.00h a 22.00h (diumenge 10.00h-16.00h). Benzinera al costat.

A fab wee stopover just off the A1. Arrived after the store closed and just another couple of vans here. Really peaceful night. Store opens at 6am and cafe at 8am. As a bonus, Stamford is absolutely gorgeous - one of the most picturesque towns in England, with over 600 listed buildings apparently.

Lugar perfecto para una parada técnica, bajando de Escocia, antes de visitar Cambridge. Para repostar y hacer compras. En la gasolinera, hay grifo para tomar agua. Está dentro de un recinto cerrado con puerta de madera, justo al lado de la tienda de la gasolinera. Si no tienes adaptador, puedes usar la regadera que tienen en la propia tienda de la gasolinera. Quite and convenient stop over for Stamford. Leave no mess behind, use the toilets and buy something in the cafe so that this does not get overnight parking restrictions.

Très bien pour la nuit, calme et sûr. A la station service Morisson il y a un robinet d'eau. J'ai fait le plein de gasoil à un bon prix: 1,497£ le litre. J'ai demandé à pouvoir faire le plein d'eau, la personne a accepté sans problème, en me proposant de prendre l'arrosoir de la station.

Very good place to stay for a night and easy to walk into the town centre from here. Lots of space and surprisingly quiet during the night. Also, the Morrisons opens very early and has customer toilets, so that is useful too.

Great park-up. Quiet after store closes. Facilities are good + a fuel station. No ANPR or height barriers. I used the store for food and topped up with fuel - so - win win. Other supermarket chains could learn from this particular Morrisons store! Recommended!

Great stop over not far from A1 , peaceful during night. Supermarket open till 10:00 pm and cafe open for breakfast at 8:00am. Thank you Morrisons.

Free, no height restrictions! No facilities other than the supermarket and cafe when open. Easy to find if you Don't follow satnav!! Town 20 minute walk for pubs and shops. Great stopover heading South. Thank you Morrisons.

Nous sommes arrivés assez tard, n’avons entendu aucun bruit pendant la nuit et pas de problème le matin en se levant. Cela reste un parking de supermarché, donc je ne suis pas sure que ce soit autorisé d’y dormir..

We arrived pretty late and it was quite with a few other vans. Got a little busy in the morning but nobody bothered us. There are toilets and wifi in the store when it’s open.

great place for an overnight well done morrisons..asked in cust services if it was ok..no prob at all..other supermarkets should take note!

Still free but a lot of building work has removed the pleasant parking bays by the trees. There's a section immediately left of the entrance where longer vans can overhang the grass. We had an OK night. Was noisy till 10.30pm with car enthusiasts chatting and beeping horns

It’s a carpark at the end of the day, but it’s flat, and there are nice spaces by trees, hidden away in the corners! I arrived at 1am, and had no issues! No restrictions, a first that I’ve seen at a supermarket! Toilets and cafe (cheap and cheerful) in Morrisons for you to use in the morning. Along with toilets.

Perfect! quiet, level, safe, close to town and breakfast in store from 7am. really liked it here!

Parking lot of a supermarket, quiet at night, bins in front of the store. Only good place to park in town. PS: It's not a chain thing, other outlets don't allow you to stay overnight!

We stayed on Saturday night. It was really quiet. Check with the store and there are no restrictions. Had to leave before cafe opened sadly.

We spent one night here. The store confirmed that it was ok to stay for the night, which was very quiet. Store times are 7am until 10pm and during these times you can use their toilets. Don't forget to pop in for a breakfast! The town is 15 minutes walk and is well worth a visit for the architecture, and coffee shops, and pubs, and restaurants..... Not a pretty park up but we'll worth it.

Wasn’t sure at first but met another couple who had stopped overnight, so parked up. Short walk into town for a bite to eat then good Kip and breakfast in Morrisons cafe. Top day on to next stop. Cheers

I stayed here for two nights with no trouble, no one said anything, very quiet at night, and the use of the toilet and cafe was great. just a short walk into the very nice town.

Just arrived and thought I would check to make sure I could leave moho to explore town and the shop confirmed, still free parking and no fixed duration.

Good place to park motorhome to walk into town. Didn’t stay the night. Lovely walk by the river into town

Quiet spot, no restrictions. Not beautiful but did it for us for the night and we visited Stamford the next day.

Ideal for visiting Stamford, less than 10minute walk into centre, no restrictions. Possible to stay night if desired.
