Fragt nach Ed, er ist der Eigentümer. Sehr freundlich und nettes junges Team. Er gibt gute Hinweise über Empfehlungen in der Umgebung. Mit ihm haben wir seine Biere getestet, war lecker. Die Bar wird früh geschlossen (21-22h). Stellplatz ist dann schön ruhig. Man fühlt sich willkommen und sicher.
We didn’t spend the night but the car park is nice and flat, big enough for any size camper depending on other cars etc. we stopped for food and drinks and the place was nice and friendly, they welcome dogs too which is great
Brilliant spot, as described. There's even a toilet in the Spar supermarket across the road which is open early.
Arrived at 6pm on Sunday (hadn’t pre booked). Busy pub advised only pizza menu. Drinks & 2 delicious large wood-fired pizzas cost £38, plus additional £5 for parking. Pub quiz started at 7pm. Car park is set back from the main road, generally quiet, mainly customers cars, we were the only campervan. Road noise from 7.30am work traffic. Petrol station/shop across road. Fab little stopover.
We stayed here last night following a visit to New Borough Nature Reserve, and having trouble finding a reasonably priced site that wasn't already fully booked. Staff in the pub were really friendly, they have a large flat carpark round the side that easily accomdates 7m Motorhome's. We ate in at the pub, so the overnight charge was just £5. they only had pizza on, but they were great, and large
we stayed for one night had pizza in the bar the pub and toilets are well parst there best and when we got the bill they had not removed the £5 for the parking and had added 1 round of drinks we hadn't had please check your bills if you stop here!!! good luck with that one ;(
We stayed here last night for a second time. Great, friendly pub. £5 for overnight if you eat in, £10 if not. Plenty of food options Inc vegan & gluten-free. We loved the pub quiz!
In an area with very limited places to spend a night outside campsites that is a good deal. And the pub is nice and inviting. We stayed here for the second time, still the same price. Thanks!

Parkplatz bei einem Pub, 10 Pfund die Nacht ohne jegliche V/E, 5 Pfund werden angerechnet, wenn man was isst im Pub, hatten wir vor, allerdings Pizza nur Do-So und ausser Pizza kein take away essen, schade, abends und ab früh morgens laut durch angrenzende Strasse, danke für die Möglichkeit, aber nur für kurzen Stop auf der Durchreise interessant

Flat car park next to pub, quite a lot of rubbish around at end of the car park. It’s flat and easy to manoeuvre round especially in a campervan. There is road noise but quiet during the night. Well stocked Spar across the road. Food and drinks in the pub were excellent; wood fired pizzas a specialty. Lovely. Short drive to local beach.
It was ok i guess. They charge £10 for a flat place to park, that's it, no services apart from bins, a tap would be nice for the price. They give you £5 off your food though

Went on Christmas Day late and it was close. Owner was about and was happy to let us stay. A little exposed and the petrol station across the road can be quite bright.
Had dinner in the pub, which is also dog friendly so the parking charge was £5. Large flat concrete car park. Plenty of space and had a peaceful nights sleep. Spar and garage across the road plus a small cafe if wanting local breakfast. No services.
Called last min while passing. £10 to stay the night in a quiet car park but it also gives you £5 off food. Food was really good and you can also takeaway pizza if you don’t want to sit in. Highly recommend.
Great food and welcome in the pub, carpark flat some traffic noise that's why 4 stars can also get Wi-Fi from the pub whilst in the carpark good tv reception pub dog friendly spar across the road Chinese takeaway around the corner will stop again
Very quiet local pub, with great food that offers a wide range of gluten free and vegan options. Near the road but it quietens at night. £10 overnight. But that includes a £5 food voucher.

Pub car park. Very quiet by 10pm till 8am. The staff were very welcoming. We ate in the pub and the service was good and the food plentiful and tasty and good value for money. No facilities but there is WiFi available in the pub.
